"mind your cup" totally feels like a potential future Kang line too
Time is like water. You can fill your vessel with time. You make your own time. No one else can fill you up or pour you out. Mind your cup.
when he says nobody can beat me up and nobody can tear me down, that has been my philosophy since I've had one.
No one can break me, but me. My only obstacle is my will.
Delightful man, wonderful actor. His momma raised him with goodness. I look forward to him maintaining a healthy balance as he continues to wow with his talent.
I concur with that.... I'm looking forward to seeing all the great things in store for him as he RISE...

Amen!!!!
can’t wait to see him in creed 3! i think this is gonna be the best creed yet 📢📢
Me too, I'm so excited for Jonathan Majors 😁
ant man and the wasp quatumania is already in theatres and creed 3 is theatres next friday
I wish more people live the way he does with the cup analogy
I’m totally weaving that idea into my psyche.
Jonathan is the sexiest man alive in several timelines.
Absolutely
he looks so.. traditional? like i could see him marching in selma just as much as i can see him ordering starbucks, he’s old school fine beyond belief ‼️
Damn you aint never lied
Just not yet in this Earth-616!
And dresses so casual which is such a 90s look
I like the actors within the MCU who seem to understand the weight of the character they're playing. True talents like Jonathan Majors, Michael B. Jordan, Elizabeth Olsen (among others) seem to genuinely value and respect the roles they play, rather than focusing on their grander significance to the MCU or just hopping on the latest bandwagon.
Him, Elizabeth Olsen, and especially Tom Hiddleston. Oh and Charlie Cox. They really get it
Throw Tom Holland in there!
The whole MCU seems to be balanced on this guy's shoulders.
Yeah especially with all the Kang movies coming up
Perfectly, as all things should be
@@JigInsane 👀 I understood that reference! 😁
He’s got the the shoulders to carry it …
As all things should be they're huge
When I went off to college, my Daddy told me the same thing about minding your cup, and even now, 33 years later, I still always bring my own cup. Momma Majors taught you well, Johnathan!! 🤗
Also, *Kang the Conqueror was spectacular!!!!!*
That's the deepest line ever!! I probably have been doing this without knowing.
That Creed 3 poster is everything.
He is nice, he is actually very different than in his movies.
There are many actors that when you see them in movies, and later in interviews , you basically see the same person.
In this situation , the guy has a completely different persona. I find it intriguing.
Johnathan is a phenomenal actor. If you watch the finale of Loki and see him as *He Who Remains,* then watch him as *Kang the Conqueror* in Quantumania, they are completely different characters! 😲 The voice, cadence, body movements, everything. Johnathan Majors is definitely a master of his craft.
Trademark of great acting. You don't see the individual in the character.
@@dr.braxygilkeycruises1460 I was telling my son the same thing. He definitely was two totally different personalities and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was awesome.
That's why he's my favorite Actor right now. He has Daniel Day Lewis type of range.
Completely agree!
He gives off some good positive energy
VERY good positive energy 👌🏼
no
He's an actor.
This aged well
@@H-Vox Actually you are just a mindless follower who dismisses years of positivity because of unproven allegations. I hope you don't treat people like that in real life.
Loved him in Lovecraft Country. His star is exploding, and I'm here for it.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: the best and classiest guests always acknowledge the band. Mr Majors didn't disappoint.
If you haven't seen his recent Korean War movie "Devotion", do yourself a favor. He was absolutely brilliant as Naval Aviator Ensign Jesse Brown, the first African American navy pilot, and an actual war hero.
*Also I endorse Jonathan Majors for sexiest man alive.
Thank you for the recommendation. Is it currently streaming somewhere? Phenomenal actor. I second your endorsement! 😅
He’s superb in Devotion. Haven’t seen anything where he isn’t to be honest! The Last Black Man in San Francisco is another must watch, amazing film.
@@longlivedemocracy756 paramount+
That's a beautiful man. Loved him in everything I've seen.
Devotion was excellent.
Becomes a conqueror, fights Rocky’s rival child, and then he walks out on a late show in a plan t-shirt with this own cup. This guy really is a multi universe boss.
That's not a plain tee, that's a very nice looking short sleeve sweater.
@@akinpaws SPEAK! folks when tear down in a minute like it's their natural way of life.
This guy just seems happy everywhere you see him I hope he never loses that positive energy.
Such a grounded person, nice to see his mother place such core values in him. Looking forward to seeing both antman and creed 3 .
His delivery is amazing, like Idris Elba and Denzel had a baby.
@@neutraliserjanine you’re a real gem
the love i have for this man and his aura. The presence he brings is really inspiring!
I so desperately want for this man to be the greatest movie villain of all-time. (and also one of the great actors all-time)
He is definitely well on his way to becoming both. There was a discussion tonight about him being a perfect Spawn even though Jamie Foxx is already cast, and of course he’s busy with the many faces of Kang…
He said "no one can pick me up or tear me down." Famous last words, in hindsight.
Despite the missteps Marvel has made in this new stage, Kang as Majors wasn’t one of them. This dude is great, both as an actor, and as a person.
He could singlehandedly save the MCU. I really think he's that good.
"Mind your cup" is good advice for both Kang _and_ Damian.
First saw him in Lovecraft Country, love the success for this man!
Don't miss Mr. Majors' magnificent performance as Montgomery in the near-perfect film "The Last Black Man in San Francisco" (2019). His range as an actor is impressive.
Facts. That's where I first seen him and followed him since. I even got the movie poster in my room lol
@@leonardwilliams90 Yes! I've seen everything since then and really look forward to these new roles. I fully expect to see Mr. Majors become a huge box office star, as well as a multi-award winning actor, including on the stage. He has the gifts to do it ALL
have ordered that on dvd. but first saw him in the abc miniseries *when we rise* have loved him ever since
Yes 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾! That’s where I first heard of him!!!
Also , bring your own cup , is a popular saying back in 70s , don’t leave your glass unattended. Club days people use to roofy or drug your drinks
Harder They Fall is one of the best movies ever made. Seriously.
SUPERB Actors too!
Yes!!! The entire cast was amazing!!!
Yes
1000% agreed
My mom is soooo in love with the fabulous Jonathan Majors! She watches his movies over and over! I sincerely hope they meet one day bcuz she would be over the freakin’ moon!!!😂🥰🥰🥰
My favorite part of this interview is when he said, "It's Kangin time!"
Definitely a great addition to the MCU cast. He has the skills and charisma...it's all on the writers at this point.
I cannot believe this guy is 33, I thought he was in his late forties at least
The emoting he does is magnificent.
Jonathan Majors is my celebrity crush right now! He’s incredibly talented, articulate, and appears to be so grounded. Praying that his career continues to soar!
He reminds me of older black actors, entertainers. An old soul.
Let's not forget how AMAZING he was in lovecraft country
His cadence and his likeness, he could play the son (or a younger version) of Denzel Washington.
or him and john boyega do a movie with denzel as a family
Or maybe Denzel's actual son could play him since he acts as well 😂😂😂
He looks nothing like Denzel
*John David Washington* would be the best choice to play a young Denzel since *he is an actor and IS Denzel's Son.*
@@daking901 Facts...imo he should’ve been the recast for t'challa
Adorable, fine, talented, funny and just has an aura about him that has captivated the world!!! I’ll watch anything he’s in. Mr Majors 😮💨
Gonna change ya name to Mz Majors!! LOL
@@neutraliserjanine which is his choice…not meeting him anytime soon 🤣🤣
You gonna watch him in his deposition(s) and arraignment(s)?
@@noBearAdventures it would be my decision 🤣 have a great day
@@bridgestar319 fair enough. Lol. Just wasn’t sure if you knew what was going on with him. To each their own. I would never judge anyone for anything.
Great addition to the MCU. Absolutely nailed it. Can’t wait to see what Kang conquers next!!
Been a fan since Love Craft Country
Absolutely
Stephen's "inadvertent muscle touch" reminded me of that scene in "Captain America: The First Avenger".
He's a phenomenal actor.
He better be the next sexiest man alive cause HE IS 🔥
He is no sexy or masculine in anyway. Nice man but he seems very feminine.
@@balance7350 not at all you really bad at reading body language I see😂
@@balance7350 I’m convinced you’re a man commenting
@@neutraliserjanine girl bye
@@balance7350 huh? His strong jawline, deep voice, muscular build, what women do you see with that? Lol
Good GOD he's fine 😭😭😭😭😭
#Understatement
Carrying the cup seems as a great tribute, measure of respect to his mother. The way he said it, makes you think that the father wasn't around, so he respected how much the mom had done for him, so he values it. Very cool and classy man. I don't know if I had heard him speak in 'his voice' but the voice he has for Kang, and the differences, show you that he is indeed very talented.
Johnathan majors can destroy my multiverse anytime
Friend!! I'm screaming 🤣🤣🤣🤭
Pause! Smh
Hahahahahaha SAME!!!!
Looks like he’s pretty good at destroying people’s multiverses.
he gives out this strong energy. such a strong mindset he has
Stephen compulsively touching Jonathan's bicep is giving Peggy Carter immediately after Cap gets the super soldier serum energy. Just can't help it.
It’s a pleasure to watch Johnathan Majors! Still angry that they cancelled “Love craft country” but anyway. Quantumania was good.
That's exactly what I told (and remind them occasionally) my sons: no drinking, no drugs, no sex. Gotta add the mind your cup. What a great and humble guy.
Great and humble enough to beat his wife and also be outted for abusing some of his colleagues eh?
This dudes adorable, respect to him!
What a seemingly great person. I see why Feige was so happy that the rest of the MCU Kang-phases were resting on his shoulders. Look at his Quantumania performance. Then look at his He Who Remains performance in Loki. The man contains *multitudes*.
I'm going to have to rewatch Loki.
Consent is so important O_O
He’s so personable ❤️😭
This man has been on an absolute run
Can’t wait to see what the future holds for him
Gonna go see creed in theatre for sure!
Such a humble human being. Jonathan Majors is an amzing actor. Even that short clip had me in awe.
Talk about spot on casting! This Kang wouldn't have to conquer me, point the way and I will follow.:)
🤣🤣🤣
A lot of comments sure didn't age well. 😬I admit I fell for it too. Who knew he had that much of a troubling abusive past
This man is just wonderful! I hope he always stays true to himself and never changes ❤️❤️❤️
Bet he gives amazing hugs 🥰
🤣🤣🤣
He has a certain kind of stoicism to him. When he called this all a circus, I believe he meant this whole dog and pony show. None of this is really real and to be taken seriously. Any of it. Live in Joy!
So true. I think he threw S.C. off script for a second.i saw a rawness that seemed too real for S.C. to handle. Then it was back to the circus 🎪
Jonathan Majors is a knockout as Kang. Just got out of the movie, and he is incredible.
He's the new IT man. Keep it up majors!
Loved him in Devotion! Can't wait for more of his projects in the future :)
He's interesting like the old Hollywood stars
He seems like a very nice man. I love his attitude on life! Such wisdom! Congratulations on your journey!
4:35 Hits completely different now. lol
Impressive man, look forward to seeing his work as his career progresses.
Wow, his acting 🤯🔥 Is it only me or is he having serious Anthony Hopkins qualities?
I loved Johnathan in Lovecraft Country.
His voice in that scene as Kang...oooooh he could read a bed-time story!!!
I have the feeling that "Now we're Kanging" will become the same thing as "It's Morbin' time" real soon.
They didn't mention Lovecraft County, which was amazing!
Jonathan Mayors seems like a guy I could hang out with
Ok 1. He is delightful and 2. that voice in the clip was sooo good!
I love his story about his mother's advice. Before I left for college, my mother gave me similar advice about not leaving my cup on the table in restaurants or bars. I should take it with me. If I had to leave it, I shouldn't drink from it and get another drink.
I loved his performance on Loki
Jonathan Majors is a terrific human
100% on the cup analogy. I think since his mom was a pastor, she's probably like "Your cup better only runneth over for the Lorrrd! No sex, No drugs, no alcohol!" ❤😂
I knew there was something about him from his performance in Creed 3, so awesome to find out he has that beautiful spirit in person. Can't wait to see more of his work!
Very mature and delightful!.
Not one mention of his lead role in Devotion? What a shame! What a great performance.
Jonathan is a very decent man, God bless you!!
Wish you all the best in the future!!
I can't wait to watch his career to continue to grow, what a talent and humble dude.
That clip gave me chills.
He seems like the most down to earth awesome dude. I can't wait to see him in more movies
Love the advice about the cup!
The way Shirts delight in hugging his body...yes
Been a fan since seeing him The Last Black Man In San Francisco. So happy he's getting his props. I even have the movie poster of the movie in my house lol
I like the way he thinks, great mom
It’s funny. I bought a ticket to see antman, only to kill a couple of hours. Didn’t have any intent to really get into the film. But, mr. Majors was so magnetic as Kang, that I actually ended up paying attention. He honestly was the best thing in the film.
I really love this man
Now we're Kangin!
Having Maxwell as his entrance? Very smart
Awesome guy. Everything I’ve seen him in was amazing.
watching this to see the whole context as there's a clip of Stephen doing a PSA on consent for Johnathan
This cat is a beast in physically but also as an actor. Fearless.
Look up The last Black Man In San Francisco. He’s phenomenal in that movie.
What a nice man, hope he stays around for a long time.
Fun to see so many people wrong about something.
Never have I wanted to be more like another person that I do right now. Jonathan's vibes are always great and he's such a phenomenal actor in everything I've seen.
Also, can we get him to play a young Mike Tyson at some point?
I'm not sure why,but he just like the kind of person you would like to know and could relax around.
Can't get over this brilliant actor and gentleman. From Devotion to Quatumania to Creed 3. Amazing man 👏
