I had this with my first noone listened to me i put it down to fact i was 17 im 43 now but still remember how she spoke to me told me to go home and dont waste valuable nhs time i had another 6 weeks left i got home i had him 2 hours later he was in special care for a month i was fuming then my youngest i had similar experience he slapped my stomach and said we wont be seeing this baby for at least another month i had her 46 mins after leaving hospital she was classed as a pop baby some ppl say how lucky it is to be in labour so fast so quick i think its traumatising 😂 no time for pain relief no getting ready etc but you stand ur ground lovely ❤

I'm sorry you had a disappointing appointment with the doctor. I think most NHS staff are amazing and go above and beyond. Unfortunately, there will be the occasional people that let us down. The 3 midwives I had were absolutely amazing and I remember them fondly. I hope all goes well Sam. ❤
In fairness they are....I've had so.many amazing people looking after me ... Even the doctor I was frustrated with was nice and in the end asked me what I wanted... I was just worried with her judgement as she was making decisions for me based on inaccurate history... And didn't advise with what to do with my medication and things.. xx
You must put your self first you take care some of your family are old enough to be able to look after them self and I’m sure hubby will help his a star he loves you and his children thinking of you all 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘👍

I also had a manual delivery of a premie twin daughter who went breech at the time of delivery but never new what it was called. I was almost welling up when you were explaining your last birth at the end. My last 2 were elective csections I recover so well from them and as soon as the spinal goes in the relief of my legs is just so good for me it’s soo nice! I was so grateful to have the option. The only thing I took was paracetamol at about day 5 after. Emergency one was horrible recovery to be honest though. I hope you have an easier time. I can’t wait to see you on the other side and you reveal her name. Sending all the luck and love to you all Xx

Sounds like you had a very traumatic birth with little Lucas, I'm keeping everything crossed it'll all be plain sailing for you with your baby girl ♥ My daughter had her little girl about 6 weeks ago-she was born with a head of thick black hair! Can't wait to see your little princess! I think you should run a book on baby's names and weight-I'll start! Think the baby's name will be Amy/Amelia and weigh 9lb 1 (If you think that's harsh, my heaviest was 10lb 13! 😂) We'll all have to wait and see but it's fun guessing. Don’t let them par you off we know best! I could tell you so many stories but the amount of midwives that shouted at me cause I should be walking once I had my section then I got assessed and I had a fluid leak on my spine leading to my brain! Most of them are just after a pay day now and don’t care unfortunately 😢 hope to your resting well, loads of love❤️❤️❤️

Yes the doctor was frustrating as she was advising me the plan without having accurate past history she was saying things happened that didn't even when I corrected her so I felt like I was talking to a wall...that said she was pleasant enough and did ask me what I wanted... Just can't wait now... I'm booked in for next week so not long to go xxx

Aw bless you I'm fine honestly... I've just done school run and having my eggs and toast.. and Lucas is being a handful haha he took about 8 steps yesterday... I'm having baby next week but it could change by Wednesday when doctors review but so far we are doing good xxx
We know our own bodies.my water broke with my second at 38 weeks.5 inductions later still no baby.then I had to go to another hospital for a epidural.they finally got him out.

The same happened to me when i had my son hes 29 now i had 3 other children after him but i was traumatised had to have blood transfusions i was really poorly still remember to this day what happened luckily it didn’t happen again i did get a womb infection with my last daughter that was awful couldn’t face having anymore after that so sent the hubby for the snip but good luck sam you got this xxx
Thanks so much love and it is hard to get over when you have a rough experience... Joshua's birth for me is the one I find it hard to see past as I had an emergency section and abruption with him.. he always had a clot behind the placenta in the pregnancy... Pregnancy can be so scary ... I refused the transfusion because my bloods didn't go below 70 I think it was but I lost a lot... 3.3litres with Lucas xx
Yeah i had no choice but having a rair blood type was hard finding the blood 1 off the nurses got instantly fired cus she left the blood out for a certain amount of time should be a certain temperature and she left it out the fridge then was quite happy to put it in me I did recover ok but mentally i don’t think you ever recover fully i can’t wait for updates to see how everything went on good luck and hope dave copes okay too bless him i bet it was tough for him when you was in hospital but it is tougher for the men there not as robust as us wonan lol but there still good for other things i not saying there hopeless or anything my hubby does alot around the house but when it comes to simple things like turning the washer on he asked for help lmao

Hi Sam, I'm so sorry you are having such a rotten time again. I messaged you a while back to tell you that my daughter was due around the same time as you. She had the same problems, suspected diabetes, as she did with her last three pregnancies, the baby's movement being less than should have been and just so many tightening's, that we thought she was going into labour at least three times. She ended up having her baby boy on the 2nd of June, one week early. She didn't have gestational diabetes but baby was definitely not moving as much. She found this the hardest pregnancy and the most painful birth but in the end, baby came safely, he cried immediately and his cord had a knot in it! Midwife said that was not something that happened a lot. Baby is just like her other three, lactose intolerant and having to go on to prescription milk, in between being fed by mum. I had the honour of being at the birth as I did with her first and at my age I am still in awe of you young mothers and what you go through to have your babies. I hope that you have a much easier birth with no after effects this time Sam. You are just such a lovely person and a great mum from what I can see. Take care and all the best when baby decides she wants to come meet her siblings
You gotta laugh, 😂😂ive had 5 and anything can happen xx my 5 i was in bed watching a documentary on the birth of twins and suddenly went into labour he popped out 2.5 hours later, i was showed and eating toast thinking what the bloody hell just happened 😂😂😂
Do you know I've heard that happen before when women watch other women in labour and that start themselves...sounds ace though not too long in labour... Have to say i'm nervous but excited xx
I was bad like that with my 3rd I past out couldn't find my veins or anything it does make you worried for future births I still had 6 though sending loads of love ❤ xx

I went with my daughter to see the midwife because her feet were like balloons, they said ‘your fine’ and sent her home, the next morning she was having an emergency c section as she had an enclamptic seizure in the hospital lift!!!! listen to your body not the hospital hope you and bubs are ok❤❤

Sounds like you had a very traumatic birth with little Lucas, I'm keeping everything crossed it'll all be plain sailing for you with your baby girl ♥ My daughter had her little girl about 6 weeks ago-she was born with a head of thick black hair! Can't wait to see your little princess! I think you should run a book on baby's names and weight-I'll start! Think the baby's name will be Amy/Amelia and weigh 9lb 1 (If you think that's harsh, my heaviest was 10lb 13! 😂) We'll all have to wait and see but it's fun guessing. Don’t let them par you off we know best! I could tell you so many stories but the amount of midwives that shouted at me cause I should be walking once I had my section then I got assessed and I had a fluid leak on my spine leading to my brain! Most of them are just after a pay day now and don’t care unfortunately 😢 hope to your resting well, loads of love❤️❤️❤️

Yes the doctor was frustrating as she was advising me the plan without having accurate past history she was saying things happened that didn't even when I corrected her so I felt like I was talking to a wall...that said she was pleasant enough and did ask me what I wanted... Just can't wait now... I'm booked in for next week so not long to go xxx

Aww thanks love I was just scared. I didn't expect it to go like it did but all was fine in the end ... I always said in the pregnancy I was worried because the placenta was always known to be huge xx

Aw bless you I'm fine honestly... I've just done school run and having my eggs and toast.. and Lucas is being a handful haha he took about 8 steps yesterday... I'm having baby next week but it could change by Wednesday when doctors review but so far we are doing good xxx

We know our own bodies.my water broke with my second at 38 weeks.5 inductions later still no baby.then I had to go to another hospital for a epidural.they finally got him out.

The same happened to me when i had my son hes 29 now i had 3 other children after him but i was traumatised had to have blood transfusions i was really poorly still remember to this day what happened luckily it didn’t happen again i did get a womb infection with my last daughter that was awful couldn’t face having anymore after that so sent the hubby for the snip but good luck sam you got this xxx
Thanks so much love and it is hard to get over when you have a rough experience... Joshua's birth for me is the one I find it hard to see past as I had an emergency section and abruption with him.. he always had a clot behind the placenta in the pregnancy... Pregnancy can be so scary ... I refused the transfusion because my bloods didn't go below 70 I think it was but I lost a lot... 3.3litres with Lucas xx
Yeah i had no choice but having a rair blood type was hard finding the blood 1 off the nurses got instantly fired cus she left the blood out for a certain amount of time should be a certain temperature and she left it out the fridge then was quite happy to put it in me I did recover ok but mentally i don’t think you ever recover fully i can’t wait for updates to see how everything went on good luck and hope dave copes okay too bless him i bet it was tough for him when you was in hospital but it is tougher for the men there not as robust as us wonan lol but there still good for other things i not saying there hopeless or anything my hubby does alot around the house but when it comes to simple things like turning the washer on he asked for help lmao

Hi Sam, I'm so sorry you are having such a rotten time again. I messaged you a while back to tell you that my daughter was due around the same time as you. She had the same problems, suspected diabetes, as she did with her last three pregnancies, the baby's movement being less than should have been and just so many tightening's, that we thought she was going into labour at least three times. She ended up having her baby boy on the 2nd of June, one week early. She didn't have gestational diabetes but baby was definitely not moving as much. She found this the hardest pregnancy and the most painful birth but in the end, baby came safely, he cried immediately and his cord had a knot in it! Midwife said that was not something that happened a lot. Baby is just like her other three, lactose intolerant and having to go on to prescription milk, in between being fed by mum. I had the honour of being at the birth as I did with her first and at my age I am still in awe of you young mothers and what you go through to have your babies. I hope that you have a much easier birth with no after effects this time Sam. You are just such a lovely person and a great mum from what I can see. Take care and all the best when baby decides she wants to come meet her siblings

You gotta laugh, 😂😂ive had 5 and anything can happen xx my 5 i was in bed watching a documentary on the birth of twins and suddenly went into labour he popped out 2.5 hours later, i was showed and eating toast thinking what the bloody hell just happened 😂😂😂
Do you know I've heard that happen before when women watch other women in labour and that start themselves...sounds ace though not too long in labour... Have to say i'm nervous but excited xx
I was bad like that with my 3rd I past out couldn't find my veins or anything it does make you worried for future births I still had 6 though sending loads of love ❤ xx

I went with my daughter to see the midwife because her feet were like balloons, they said ‘your fine’ and sent her home, the next morning she was having an emergency c section as she had an enclamptic seizure in the hospital lift!!!! listen to your body not the hospital hope you and bubs are ok❤❤
Aww I'm so sorry to hear that was your daughter and baby OK? I hope so...that's so scary and they are usually so aware of pre eclampsia I hope your daughter got sorted and took some sort of action over that ... Poor thing. .you must have been worried out of your mind ❤️ xx
