Hi Nathaniel, most of people when watching RUclips video, even don't realize the huge amount of work necessary to produce this kind of video. Repairs, filming (light positioning, camera positioning, with enough space to work, sound recording, etc), video editing, mixing music....well : Good job, and thank you for the time you spend for this! I am patiently waiting for your proposal regarding the VCA distortion, because my JX-3P has the same issue. Maybe I can find a way how to solve this in your future video. See you. Good luck!

Oh yes. You're quite correct! At this point, I've made 4 custom lights that I hang from the ceiling and angle just right to keep them from reflecing into the camera. I just picked up another camera. This one has optical zoom, so we can have come clear close-up shots now. And just like most RUclipsrs, that project studio is much smaller in real life. But it's fun, and I really like restoring old gear. I wish I had more time for it.

Amazing job, impressive with the pitch panel! Did you fix the front (under the keys) in the end too? If I remember right that's wood finish too originally (I've owned three of these babes between 1989 and 2001, unfortunately my last one, renovated too, and with Kenton midi, was stolen after a gig in 2001)..

That front edge is on my list for part 4. I also want to change the mute transistors to see if I can clear up the distortion I'm getting from the VCA. Thanks for watching!
