i have a personal testimony on this...1996 i was in a max security prison when our LORD saved me...and i mean the HOLY SPIRIT filled me and immediately stopped drinking (we made plenty of booze) stopped smoking drugs and my racism ended...i would not sit with a black...the whole prison is racist... and the first thing the LORD does is hook me up with a best friend (who had also just been saved)...so now you have this white and black team walking the yard preaching the gospel and i could go on and on but there were men being saved and there was peace on that yard...fast forward to my fall...i used to ask the LORD how anyone could backslide and turn away...i can actually remember right when it happened and the LORD kept blessing me even though i got farther and farther from HIM...this took 15 years to hit bottom and then the chastisement...HE took it ALL away and i mean all...and i praise the LORD that HE did... was on the street in the winter (cold place)...then HE opened a door and brought place to lay my head...our LORD just woke be back up about a 2 years ago...the guilt sorrow is still in my soul...since i was saved i KNEW i was sealed and would never be lost but when you go through something like that you cannot imagine the grief...so our LORD showed me how someone can fall...the fear i have is more chastising...whom HE loves HE chastens...
AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING the amount of research you do in order to most properly edify us! Thank you, Teacher Justin, for taking so much care and fervor that we clearly will understand the points you so beautifully illustrate. How blessed we are go be your pupils. Praise God, for having given us one such zealous an educator. Thank you, my Lord!
I love this church for it preaches truth and in ways I can understand. I don't have a home church as all in my area have so compromised the Word of God I don't recognize it anymore. the nearest one that is highly recommended is 3 hours away. Thank God for internet church. I want fellowship and to do works that please God and I try but most in my area are saved and they too forego a church building. I can't compromise and I have the blessing of hearing teachings on what I need. Many prayers and God bless you...thank you.
Amazing!! Thank you so much! I just being asked this question while sharing the Gospel to my friend and I have to confessed that I am struggled. But now, I GOT IT! you do not know how I felt. I am the richest women in the whole world!
Great message on eternal security but I wouldn't go so far as to say that if a person doubts there salvation then they are not saved. Plenty of people get saved with very little understanding of scripture. If they haven't learned rightly dividing then they can get saved by faith In His blood but then come across a book like Hebrews and see the warnings and make them doubt. I would say that most believers have doubted there salvation at some point. Even if it's something like do I really believe.
Thanks for that comment Jared. How true! Many of us take a while to learn that He loves us no matter what, and He never stops teaching us, and loving His own.
@@bruceaustad1239 I wanted to add that some people do doubt because they are not sure how to be saved. But for us who have trusted in Christ alone and the redemption in His blood that we ARE saved. Feelings and doubts and questions are common to man. God by inspiration had the apostle paul write that we are sealed with the Holy spirit until the day of redemption plus many other encouraging verses. Why? Because God knew we needed that assurance and Paul no doubt wrote because of questions from the churches. God knew we would have concerns and left the answers in His word for comfort. While I enjoyed the message here never let someone tell you that if you lack assurance that it means automatically that you're not saved. Just like our walk our faith and peace is prone to weakness. Roman's 3:22 talks about the Faith OF Christ (His faithfulness) not ours. Once you've trusted Christ nothing shall separate you from His love. Grace and peace
This is me ive always been worried if im really saved because ive been so messed up doctrine wise and then sin struggles on top its been a horrible 8 years barring the firsr 6 months where I was in joy and hungry for Him and the word
Hi there, is a problem with this explanation. Firstly I am a King James only dispensational Bible believer, and this is how I ended up on this video after watching your "Why the King James only" video which was very well done. Thank you I do believe that you are saved and that you are my brother in Christ - (After I heard your explanation on the Gospel) However unfortunately can't agree with this explanation, because you are basically saying that a certain group of people in the old testament could be saved by works. This goes against a clear scripture I heard you quoted, can't remember if it was this or the previous video. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. The emphasis on "Not of works, lest any man should boast" it does NOT read "Not of works, lest any man under grace should boast" It is attacking the character of God, if anybody in any dispensation could say that they earned their way into heaven by works. Please remember that God can not allow works to count for anybodies salvation in any dispensation. This is a false teaching that I heard from a lot of Peter Ruckman students. Picture this, two people stand next to each other in heaven after they die, one from the old testament "under the covenant" as you stated, and another an eternally secure believer from the church age. The church age believer then turns to the old testament saint saying, "Wow all praise and glory to God, whom saved me, whom died for me on the cross, not through me own righteousness, but the imputed righteousness that I received from the Lord Jesus Christ after I placed all my trust in His finished work on the cross. The old testament saint can then say, yea that's nice for you however I had to WORK and do my part to EARN my salvation." That is basically teaching Lordship salvation in the old testament. Remember God will NOT share His Glory with ANYBODY. Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Also think of the following scripture Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. I know you can say, ye thats for us under grace, however why did God the Father then had to send, the Lord Jesus Christ the Son to die for our sins, way not just leave us under the law, and save His Son the torments of the cross. What you are overlooking in the scriptures in the old testament is the difference between "Cursing or blessing" which came through obedience of the Law, and more importantly this distinction between physical death and loosing your salvation. My sincere apologies for this long reply, however honestly felt that I needed to share this with you. God bless you, and I sincerely hope and pray that you would re-think this, keeping the character of God in mind. PS: The book of Hebrews are not only to the Hebrews, it was written to early christians wanting to go back to Judaism. Thank you
If you are a dispensational bible reader this should be very simple for you to get. God gave "rules" to different groups of people at different times in different manners. God can do whatever he wants. If he decides in one period of time he will "allow" man to "try" and work there own righteousness to heaven so be it but, we know the outcome of that. NO MAN has ever accomplished there own righteousness by doing the works of the law because it was impossible. NOW YES it is only by Grace through faith are we saved ALONE No works at all. Only believing the works jesus did on the cross FOR us. Then believing that for salvation. God decides how he "makes" his "dispensations" (rules) not you. When you learn to divide the bible correctly and simply accept the WORDS you see you will not have any problems. Unfortunately I can clearly see you are not really dispensational because you can't clearly see the difference we are in today verses how God had a dispensation in the old testament. To back and read the words from the bible on "why" God even gave men a law to do that will answer your questions and hopefully allow you to better learn how to rightly divide.
Tamara Carlson it comes from being in Christ. body of Christ is in Christ present tense. Israel isn't in Christ yet, not until they say"blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord".
LW97 / Vettel2011 our baptism by the Holy Spirit put us into the body of Christ right now so we have full insurance ,the kingdom Believers receiving of the Holy Ghost does not put them in the kingdom and they do not have full assurance until they are in the Kingdom so I do not think that is a correct answer
There is absolutely no such thing as eternal security or once saved always saved. It was never taught by JESUS, the disciples of the early church. All eternal security does is give people a license to sin. John the Baptist came preaching a "" baptism of repentance "" to be baptised means to be fully emerged. We need to be fully emerged in repentance and not trusting in a prayer, or get out of hell free card, to get us into heaven.
@ash malin JESUS IS KING OF KINGS. The apostle Paul tells us to work out own salvation with fear and trembling. John the Baptist came preaching a baptism of repentance. Salvation is a process, it's not a one time flu shot. 2nd Corinthians #7:1 let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. That's our responsibility. We don't repeat a sinners prayer and your set. There's a process that is involved
