I’m a beginner. I look at your videos but I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing. I purchased VGT and S&P500 ETF’s. Is this a good start? How can I trade so I can quit my job? My sister passed 3 yers ago and I adopted her 2 children. I have 5 kids in all including them. I need enough income so I can be mother. I’m drained mostly everyday. I make good money but I’m exhausted. Please help.
First week trading. Made good money Monday and Tuesday. Got excited/impulsive and bought 5 contracts towards the top on Thursday *right* before the drop. Still road the waves on other plays and made money on Thursday but hoping to get out of those 5 contracts on Monday. Will likely lose a lot of money on Monday but I definitely learned lessons. Stay focused and to stick to the fundamentals. Should’ve bought closer to support & Should’ve took profit when I saw profit instead of getting greedy and waiting for more. Made smaller profits today.
These end of the day videos are much needed therapy for me, especially after these last two days 😂

I sold my NVDA after watching Josh's analysis. Better to sell when Smart money is selling, then get back in at a much lower price, when the big boys want to get back in. Retail will be holding as their stocks keep falling and keep averaging and averaging down until they are broke with no more money to average down! That's not a good strategy. So why not sell when Smart money is selling? Warren Buffet said to buy with blood on the street but he sells and holds cash. One RUclipsr said, "don't do what these gurus are SAYING, watch what they are DOING".

What about the taxes on selling within a year . I believe it's 25%. If you hold for 2 years taxes, 15%. So are you really making money?
Good call. Repositioning is a lot more sophisticated than it sounds due to taxes. Oh and short term capital gains tax could get as high as 37% depending on your income and filing status!

I have been watching your videos for around 6 months and I just realized I’m the FOMO person you were talking about….I need to learn what you are actually doing. I’m a stay at home dad and I’m always very busy as we have 7 children but I’ve made around $2000 following your advice. Of course I’ve put in the research on the companies and the stocks themselves and I have educated myself…however, the puts and stays I need someone to teach me. Tell me what to do coach!!
I understand the buying opportunity, but I also know the stock is up %10000 which makes it difficult to load the boat here. The market is cyclical and I can almost bet I will be buying at these prices or below by 2026. NVDA is a goat but everything don't go up forever. My opinion stands here for now.

I waited until SOXL hit the top of trading range on the daily and bought 5 puts on Tuesday for 5.50 a contract. Sold them today for 8.50. Is that a homerun? Pretty close

Hello. I’m currently investigating on the Robinhood app. I’m up to 600.00 at this point. The stocks that I have seem to go up and down everyday. Doesn’t seem like I’m making any money. What advice can you give me to flip the 600 into 2000
You have to be patience and you have to know it’s a good company. If it’s not a good company fundamentally you can be in the play for years until the company does become a good company. If it’s already a good company buy more shares as much as possible and give it five years. It has to be a fundamentally good company. Some traits of a fundamentally good company is it’s been around for a while, has been doubted before but has added concrete value to society and if it has stock split you can bet it will do it again. When ? Idk … no one knows but Tesla Microsoft Apple nividia Amazon google meta are all companies that are considered long term holds. Ten years Later with these stocks and your a millionaire. You can find a company that hasn’t blown up yet like palintr and Sofi but there is no guarantee honestly just a 99% chance it will blow once it works out the kinks but if you are not investing savvy stay away and just stick with the big guys
