This is the way to travel Australia. Get off the black top and drive down a road to see whats down it..
Alot of old history to be seen..

So good to see you on the old Eyre Highway .We drove the original gravel highway in 1972 and again twice in 1974before the bitumen went through . Such an adventure in those days especially a roadhouse called Ivy Tanks where you could get the best bacon burger . The blow hole at Koonalda Station is nothing to do with the ocean and its the water that has eroded the limestone making huge underground caverns and the air rushing out (or in ) is caused by a difference in air pressure . If there gas been high atmospheric pressure it pressurises the cavern and when the external air pressure drops the air rushes out of the cavern . So now welcome to our home state and enjoy yourselves .

Thanks guys, we really feel so special with you treating us to two episodes inside a week, we could get used to this, anyhow it was a great ep, loved your cooking segment Elenya, great foresight to throw everything into a pie and get an 8 from everyone as well and without charcoal, good girl. We were a bit surprised at the trucks consumption figures, can you at some stage [whenever] do a talk on the highs and lows of the trucks fuel economy and what things effect it and by how much.

26 litres per 100 is real good. I had an 80 series petrol 4.5 litre that used to get 23 litres per 100 around town and not towing anything. It was disgusting. Well done guys.

Hi Guys, I have been following you for a long time now and love your videos, I see today you are in WA at Norsman, I'm not sure if you are going to travel South or North. We live 26 km East of Albany at a little place called Nanarup Beach with a population of 3 people. There are limited free camping along the coast with most charging a small fee. Some camping spots are very small so check them out before you go in and can't turn around. Look forward to your next video. Safe travels

What an another fantastic episode, love it and love you guys.
What a great looking pie, that French onion soup mix is such a reliable base for so many meals. 10 out of 10 for those wonderful boys taking the carrots when offered, they may not have been overjoyed with the offer, but they still took them! Regarding the pie, a handy hint is to always cool your filling before putting into the pastry base for cooking in the oven, and don’t forget to put a couple “holes” in the topping.
We do love watching your alternative roads you travel on, and when we do eventually cross the Nullarbor and I think we too will go over on the old track too. You see so much more. Truly envious of the drone footage of the eagle and how amazing to see the nest and so low to inspect it.
Looking forward to your next episode.

The old highway looks better today than it did in 1972. Some of the holes in it were nearly good enough to swallow a car

I truly enjoyed wandering around with you guys in this episode. I have a hunch the camera doesn't do justice to the vastness of the Nullabor ..kinda like driving through Montana enjoying big sky country.

Get your man to cook, trying to think of meals everyone like everyday is not cricket.
My daughter whome ive landed on while my rig motor is having a huge overhaul from sitting for 19mths in Weipa as dads health went downhill and he wanted the heat. Stuffed my motor as I listened to my son and didn't run her. Palative care for a 96 solid bush man with immense bush pride wasn't a walk in the park.
Going to go cotton or other crop harvesting to re fill the nearly 30 thou of cost with the motor and 8 new tyres.
