A message from Sir Martyn Oliver, His Majesty's Chief Inspector

In his video message, His Majesty's Chief Inspector Sir Martyn Oliver, sets out Ofsted's formal response to the recommendations set out by the Coroner following the inquest into the death of headteacher Ruth Perry.
He also emphasises the vital role of inspections in making sure that children and learners have the highest quality of education, training and care. Setting out how he wants Ofsted to continue to make changes, he talks about the 'Big Listen' which will hear directly from the sectors we are part of, from parents, children, learners, and everyone else who is involved in, or affected by our work.
