In setting up a curve in OpenTX/EdgeTX using the slider as your input, it is always a good idea to add a center dead band. Even though most radios have a physical detent for center sometimes it is hard to find exact center when in flight, under the goggles, maybe in a higher stress situation, etc. Adding in a 5 point dead band on either side of center in the curve gives you a litlle play room to dial in center mid flight. Just a tip. Great vid Darren
Great idea. I've noticed that some transmitters are better than others as far as the detent goes. But, I guess with the sliders it's a compromise anyway. Some glider pilots use a slider as the throttle. So a more subtle detent is better here.
@@MrD I know it works really well for a pan/tilt application. I would have issues with trying to find center even with a detent by over shooting a couple times before its dialed in. The dead band stops this back and forth movement, and even a slow down by 0.5-1 second smoothes it out too
This will be useful. I will full watch later. Thanks, Darren
Thanks Silvio 👍🏻

Thankyou Darren.
