The reason for the change was because the fitting that was on there originally was a 90 degree fitting and when the turbo was clocked where I needed it to be the fitting was pointed directly toward the exhaust runner so had to switch it to a straight fitting. It's the same size fitting overall it's just the thread pitch was different and that's why I had to tap it. Thanks for the comment brother! 🤙🏽
I used the oil restrictor that came included with the turbo, it doesn't have one built in. They should have included the restrictor, gasket, crush washers..etc in a ziplock bag. Unless your's was already bolted on? Every seller is different.

So you didn't use a oil restictor right because the turbo already had one built in right? Because u have the same turbo ill be installing soon
