The way you spoke about Hipster Oud reminds me of a strange experience with it. When I was in store and let it dry down I liked it. But later when I purchased it, over time I feel like the scent changed on me, similar to what happened with Rose Gourmand. With Rose Gourmand, when I let it sit, I liked it. But after buying it, I felt like it changed on me :(
This happened to me with So Sweet by Lolita, I loved it last year (wore it in Uganda) this year every time I smell it I want to vomit, I’m not sure why. maybe just hormones!

I've personally tried so so hard to like these fragrances, I don't even know what the issue is. Maybe I'm just not an Oud person? Even though I have a few oud perfumes that I like... I also don't smell any oud on the Zara oud collection. 😅 So you were right when you said the oud in these is very soft....I guess I like my oud strong.
Totally understand, I think Zara is just focussed on a more ‘mainstream’ kind of oud so pretty much a line with just a wink at oud without actually containing real oud 😀

I see the mens department now has 3 new wood fragrances wo/01 wo/02 wo/03. I think they might be a bit more interesting than the tabac line. Just cant keep up with all the releases, Zara needs to add some of their better new releases into their permanent collection rather than just discontinuing them.
Unfortunately, this is the way they are making money. They are a fast fashion chain, if they make their lines part of a permanent collection they will lose on profit. Their profit scheme is a new collection every two weeks.
I agree in hating the drydown on Red Temptation! It's such a strong face punch of woodiness (i think?).. that its all i can smell. I get the same with Mancera Instant Crush too. I'm not sure what that note is, but I hate it... and i LOVE BR540, i don't smell it at all in there
Eww instant crush, i dont like that ‘dirtiness’ in that one either! And you’re right, BR does not have that, it smells clean and nice with a great drydown
By the fireplace smells like a bushfire to me (awful). I don't get the appeal. I might try Bohemian Oud, though. I like oud scents done right. I can't stand Guidance (awful) so pass on Hipster Oud. 😂 Perpetual Oud is probably a pass too. Thanks for the review. 😊
@@JiMinzyYong yes is is. But with zara you never know, they bring back discontinued fragrances all the time. It might come back when fall starts but there’s no way of knowing unfortunately

Same happened to me with some Zara fragrances. Maybe it needs to macerate. Don't forget that the perfumes at the store are open for a long time ;)
