Too bad about this era, but it seems like it fell flat... Would have loved it if they would have just released a double album! Where are the rest of these songs!? And in the end another production failure... Although I do like this album better than the self-titled! That album is awful...
@@reinforcedpenisstem It's funny because the more distance we get from an album like "Wild Mood Swings"..The more I appreciate it ! At least during that era they were trying to do something different! The Cure hasn't done anything really different ever since... That's been a problem for them... Blood Flowers was okay ...But it really wasn't that great! It was NO "Disintegration"... It was definitely NO "Pornography"...The only reason why I say that is Robert Smith has grouped these 3 albums together as some Trilogy.. ? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.... In 1989 Robert said on a few occasions in interviews during the "Disintegration" tour. That he compared the album with the "Faith" era. Which makes more sense! Disintegration has always had a lot more in common with "Faith" and "Blood Flowers" than "Pornography" ... Everything sense "Wild Mood Swings" has just been trying to go down the road of the past... And none of it really worked out....

Ross Robinson destroyed this record... It's like The Cure went " Hot Topic " ! Just going through the motions... The last 2 albums are utter garbage... That's coming from a Die Hard fan of 40 years.

Self titled album is terrible. The producer made The Cure sound boring.
