Not that anyone cares, I own both sets, never got on with the Pearly Gates. The BB are good pickups...2005 LP stock. You've validated my thoughts with this showcase.
PGs sound great, but I prefer BBs Pro. PGs have a little too much bright for my taste, to the point I find them a little shrill. Nothing that could not be solved with guitar controls, I guess.
my customer who had me install these pickups for them.. im not gonna argue. on the flipside, i do demos clean and people want dirty clips, i do dirty clips and get crucified by the clean tone crew.

BB Pro sound warmer, meatier, fuller. Duncans's tone is glassy and open. I prefer BB Pro.
