Couple things. Why the hell are the plates on the car blurred? Do y'all not want people who live in the area to identify the car? And can we all finally admit that taking guns away from law abiding citizens doesn't help them defend themselves against criminals? Or are we still going to say "assault rifles should be banned". These guys don't seem to have an issue using those "assault rifles" even though they're technically banned where they are. Only thing is the two people who were injured weren't legally able to defend themselves from the guys in the video that we can't even identify 🤔...

Everyone thinking they should show the license plate would probably think the owner or person they see driving it is the shooter. If you're planning a public assassination, stealing a car is an easy choice. If they abandon the vehicle undamaged it will be returned to the victim it was stolen from. If the community (including those wanting revenge for the shooting) think "that's the shooter's car" that could put the 1st victim in danger. Even if they aren't attacked, the shooter's 1st victim shouldn't have anyone blaming them for crimes committed against additional victims. Showing the plates would only lead people to accuse the car theft victim of the shooting.

Even if that is true. speaking with officers before they don't prefer the license plates to be blurred because then the public will be aware of the vehicle. so if they see it they can call it. But since it's blurred we can't help.
If the plates are stolen or the car is stolen it's still good to know because then we could identify it and tell it to police there's literally no point in blurring it out
