- Sprouting Grains is one of the easiest things in the world of sprouts. In this video we show you how to grow wheat sprouts, but you can sprout any big grain (barley, kamut, oats, rye, spelt, triticale or our grain mix; Amber Waves of Grain) with these instructions. Grain sprouts are so fast and easy that we're including directions for sprouting in both a Mason Jar and an Easy Sprout Sprouter in this one video. You can munch on sprouted grains as a snack. They're very sweet. They also lend themselves to bread making - of course. One last note: If you want to eat or bake with sprouted oats or barley sprouts - be sure you start with HULLESS seed. A hulless grain grows without a hull. A grain that has been hulled (had its hull removed) can be damaged in the process and many will not sprout. Wheat, Rye, Triticale and Kamut all stand the hulling process well. Spelt comes through hulling once in a while, but oats and barley never do. For that reason you need to start with a seed/grain (same thing) which never had a hull. Hulless. Happy Sprouting!
You can't smell that fresh, new, delicious springtime smell that the sprouting seeds give off.
You're such a happy man. How can someone be board when you are clearly just so happy about sprouts. I'm excited to get started growing my own.
This is a really good, professional-style presentation. Easy to undertand. Tks.
From 4:40 starts the part with a jar.
That what I was looking for. Thanks a lot ;-)
I use 1 of my many Mason Jars,a nd put a piece of cheese cloth over the top secured by the band, and i rinse once a day.. Cheap and works and stuff I already have , as I can alot!
I buy from your company and this was SO helpful!
Great video...The instructions that came in the box were a bit vague but after watching this demo it left no doubt in my mind as to what I need to do to get those healthy and tasty beans.
The instructions were crystal clear. Thanks a million...I love those dogs
Wow! I had no idea they could take such rough treatment! I thought the little 'tails' would break off with that shaking and swooshing! Thanks for a great video.
The dogs are so cute!
OMG!!! I have that same bowl!!! (^_^) Thank you again for another educational vid!!! And your dogs are so cute!!!
Awesome video!!
Thank you so much! Very helpful. By the way your kitchen is sparkling and neat lol
Thanks, good video God bless you :)
I think you're a hoot!! :D Thank you for the information!
can you shake them too hard, will the little tail break off from the seed?
This is awesome!!!! Thank you!
good video thanks!
Thanks for the upload. This is going to be great for my hens. I only have five, so doing a big tray seems to be more than they can eat.
thanks a lot for sharing. love you.
Very clear video thank you.
Thank you, that was great!!
My tap water stinks of chlorine.Would that damage the seeds/sprouts? Will the chlorine be absorbed as they soak? Should I just use the same spring water I use for drinking? I'd hate to waste it for rinsing seeds but I will if I have to.

hell yeah
wow, I had no idea you could eat wheat grass seeds. I'm interested to know what nutrition it offers.
Grat video! What is the best way to store them?
I want to grow the seeds for chicken food, how long would it take to produce enough food.
Is 12h soaking too long or is it ok, because they say if you soak the grains too long it will drown and die. I want to sprout barley grains can you tell me what is the perfect soaking hours.
Thanks
Great Video! Question: Does it matter if I use filtered water instead of tap water?
Saw elsewhere that they were placing the seeds in the dark, and once sprouted into the sun. Is this a necessary step?
yea but they say to soak quinoa for just 30 min , its difficult because I soaked it for 30 min and they still sprouted, why do other people say to soak 12 hours, or 2 hours etc. does it matter?
A little question, do you have to wash/rinse your sprouts again just before eating them? Thanks :)
Like a baws
soaking raw oat right now....are they difficult to sprout? soak 12 then drain and rinse every 12 hrs until they ? i want to make rejuvalac from these sprouts
Can I sprout watermelon seeds like this? I tried it once and nothing happened.
From where can I buy organic raw oats for sprouting?
Is that only tap water? or do you have a filtration on your water below the sink attachment to improve no chlorine mercury ect in water , I thought you kill off the good bacteria without using only filtered water, I'm wanting the green to grow out more on my sprouts !
Pamela Goforth grab a couple and give it a go
Any advice for sprouting rye berries?
What kind of wheat is suggested for Essene bread?
Make a distiller.

Vive la uncontained. ;)
I heard that was a myth, idk tho, I could be wrong
I just do it in a jar or empty spinach tub, poke holes in the top and then go through the process using a simple screened strainer to pour out the water. I'm doing mung beans in a empty yogurt container right now. However, do not shake your seeds or grain too roughly, these are living things and should be treated respectfully.
I came here hoping to see how to sprout rice, the only thing I've never sprouted. I tried wild black rice but it seems to just be splitting.
On a side note, I personally find this speaker to have an unpleasant sarcastic tone, which may be why out of 62k views there are only 280 thumbs up.
Do not shake it, you're breaking the tiny sprouts! :(
My god why are you shaking the sprouted seeds?
Does not make sense you are destroying the seeds.
