+Josef Andar No, he never said that in reference to his ethnicity but he said that with reference to his nationality, so he is turkish citizin but he is not ethnic Turk. You read such this lie in turkish media and as a part of their ongoing anti-Kurds propaganda and they even lie shamelessly and referring to an interview with a BBC reporter without saying the name of the reporter not even once.

He is from the city 'Mardin'. So do I 50% from Mardin. The people in Mardin ethnic origins are arabic not kurds. But this does not matter. We love kurds, arabs and live together peacefully. But the problem is USA and its idiotic UN-HUMAN practices in middle east. Lastly, Aziz Sancar said by himself, he is Turk origin.
