i keep expecting to see more of Onion Knight being annoyed by Vaan treating him like a kid, but it seems like Vaan respects him a lot more now and just likes hanging out with him lol
This is the last of the lines with Kefka in it right? It's been while since I played this, but in the timeline isn't he both here and with Ultimecia at the same time? I know there's an overlap at one point, or possibly even three at once.

Or they just didn't put in enough effort for that to be acknowledged. Wouldn't surprise me going by how awful the rest of the story is.
