Sometimes though they even don't except other Muslims btw. Tolerance is not everywhere in the broader Islamic world. There are tolerant majority Muslim areas, but by far not everywhere, and way less than other groups in the world.

Yishai, your words at the end of the video reminded me of Expo '67 in Montreal. No fights, no problems, people from all over the world coming together in peace, while promoting their culture. I remember standing on higher ground (in the literal sense), and looking over the crowds of people below. All colours, all nationalities, in one place. A babble of voices, and also of dress. It was truly beautiful. To lose all of that would be a travesty.

Arabs have always regarded and treated Jews as Dhimmis, second class citizens , whenever Jews were a minority among their lands. Ottomans ruled the Levant for many centuries, you can't possibly count that period as 'proof' of any 'Palestinian tolerance' towards Jews. Simply because Ottoman Turks were in charge...And if Jews were barely tolerated among Muslim majorities during the Diaspora, it is only because they were a minority among a Muslim majority.
This Arab man is a liar, Ethiopian have better life in Israel than in Ethiopia, same w/ Druze, who hold positions in the Knesset, in the Israeli high court, in the military.
But the fact remains that there are more than a dozen ethnic Arab nations, w/ language, religion, customs identical to so called 'Palestinians - who are in reality largely descendants of ethnic Arabs from surrounding nations.
On the other hand, The modern State of Israel is the only nation where Jews has inviolable full rights. And they have it on the sites of ancient Israelite kingdoms. The only way to make sure Jews are not abused by a Muslim majority or any other majority ethnic group is fro Jews to maintain a Jewish majority in Israel.
That is a non negotiable term.
History has proven again and again that a 'one state solution' is just an absurd pipe dream, wihout any historical precedent. Quite the contrary. History shows that when Jews are a minority among other ethnographic religions groups, they sooner or later will face, exploitation, abuse, violence and death.
The use of the term “Palestinian” to refer to an Arab ethnic group is a modern political creation without any historical academic credibility.

While it is true that limited conversations like these can shed light on limited areas of two people, one thing stands true. Israel has one land, one people, and one religion. I love the overall content of this. Without getting into the details, it reminds me of a Bible reference. Everybody has heard of angels announcing at the birth of Jesus, "Peace on earth. Good will toward men." That's a bad translation. It should come out something like, "Peace on earth to men (people) of good will." I translated it that way in my New Testament Greek class and later found scholars who did the same. And Jewish radio host Michael Medved here in America mentioned that on one of his shows a few years back. Most people want peace, they want security for themselves and their families, education for their children, healthcare, prosperity, etc. If people of good will come together to work toward these goals, all other issues can be worked out. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Yishai, the problem with global capitalism is that it has destroyed villages, tribes and local communities. It is even destroying families and integrated individuals now (with the attention economy). It has only kept big companies/institutions and nation states. We need to restore these intermediate levels. The Palestinians especially will thrive once they have their villages back, instead of a big city. They will have their particular character of each village, with good, honorable work instead of handouts from UN. These intermediate levels are conservative, nations and UN are liberal, and Palestinians are more conservatives than Jews, generally, though many Jews have a good balance...
