This is my 7th motovlog video featuring my new 2022 Hold Gold Wing DCT-Bagger. In this video I explain my pairing sequence with the Sena Impulse Helmet and the 2018+ Honda Gold Wing.

Great video and probably the only one that deals with this issue. I have a 21 tour model Goldwing, Sena Impulse helmet, GoPro 12, a Carlinkit 5 and a Zumo XT1. I've spent hours on end trying to seamlessly connect everything including a workaround the GoPro Audio recordings and to have Apple CarPlay all at the same time. Here's what I've come up with - (1) Make sure the Impulse helmet is paired to the bike as rider one. (2) The GoPro should be paired as rider two. (3) As you mentioned in your vid, make sure everything is unplugged and turned off - no bluetooth connections on your iPhone or Android. (4) Bike On, (5) Sena Impulse on and wait until it connects to the bike (6) GoPro 12 on and wait till it connects to the helmet. (6) Connect the Carlinkit or phone in order to bring CarPlay up on the bike. It can take a couple of minutes. - This is all pretty much as you mentioned. I haven't even tried to pair the Zumo XT GPS but i have a feeling using the GPS pairing mode on the Impulse helmet will workout. So, as you mentioned B C D Bike Comms Helmet. The only add ons are that you can use the GoPro 12 Vx control by saying the commands GoPro Start Recording and GoPro Stop Recording thereby circumventing the QuickCapture button (which for some unknown reason, disconnects audio input for subsequent recordings, as you mentioned in this vid). Also, i can use CarPlay with my configuration but cannot get audio out of the helmet speakers; only through the bike speakers. I haven't figured that part out. If all else fails: Rub ya belly and pat your head whilst connecting it all up. Hope you have some awesome rides.

Thanks for the video my friend. I am searching for information on the Sena Helmet and your video popped up along with Cruiseman. Not sure why I missed this one. You did a fantastic job of explaining the connections. I will be using the AcePro camera and have watched all Robert White's videos as well. @@goldwingmoments The connection sometimes takes about 30 seconds, but everything works great. Best helmet I have ever owned. You will love it. Stay safe.

Thanks, Your channel is a great help, as I’m going to be picking up my new 24 dct tour on March 2nd. Kinda like you , I , as well have not ridden a dct before and can’t wait to get out for a ride.

You will love it. Ride around in a few neighborhoods and you will be ready in less than an hour. Just make right turns and off you go.
