John Makemson was my uncle, he served 31 years with the LBFD! he was also an Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Airman in the Air Force during Vietnam. We miss him very much, no one occupying that building should ever be afraid of him. Our Bubba was the kindest man, and that will never change
Thanks for sharing God Bless your uncle for his service to the community. I am sure that he was a great man. My mother had a saying that you should never be afraid of those who have died but you should be for those who are living. I remember this always when I come across ghost stories.
I've been at that station in 2001.i didn't know about it being haunted then..i did some repairs to the firetruck I heard someone talking to me but I couldn't see who it was.i was under truck doing a oil change..he kept saying back in my days we had oil bath air filters...we cleaned them ourselves...I slid from under truck to see who I was listening to...know one was around...I walked around station and found the fireman were knapping.i found the captain and told him firetruck was ready for service.i never asked him if he was the person I was talking to but I can tell it wasn't his voice I heard...that firestation is always cold inside and I always feel like I'm walking in a empty church...🙄🤔
I was never stationed at 12’s but I worked several callbacks there. I never had a problem, never worried about working there. I knew about the ghost, there was a picture of the firefighter hanging up in the kitchen. Brian was one of my junior firefighters when he came to Station 9.
there's an evp in this at 3:31-3:32 as he talks above the firefighter paramedics voice. he says four words. it's not from the old man but a much younger guy. there's another evp at 6:22 from another males voice. before the poor old guy died in the 90's? the place was already haunted. all places are. i bet the neighbors of the building see/hear things often.
He said the weight on the chest would happen when they would experience paralysis. They weren't experiencing a ghost. It was sleep paralysis. If you wake up to something scary and can't move or speak it's sleep paralysis.
Not necessarily true. Who cannot always chalk it up to sleep paralysis. If it was always happening to the same firefighter (person) the most likely, but not if several others in the same place are experiencing the same thing.
@@parapsychologist5402 oh ok definitely if multiple people are experiencing it.. that makes a difference.. Agreed there! A phenomenon like that would definitely seem more paranormal as opposed to neurology.
