The production on this music video is absolutely insane!! All of these scenes and props-- the cars, the floating fish, cgi, classroom shot, Moroccan inspired shot, standing on upside down car, school bus....everything costs money and this is money really well spent!! There are so many hidden concepts in here, Ateez!
I really like how they incorporated similar camera directions in this music video. For example, the *archway* scene is the same as their MV for *Treasure*. Them in front of the stage under the stormy sky with *smoke bombs* in the back is similar to *Wonderland*. The *ship* sailing at the end of the video is similar to *Illusion*. The *sandy* floor in the middle of the video gives us the atmosphere like they are in the *Sahara Desert* which is where they shot the song *Pirate King.* And then you know the *iconic dance* move from *Say My Name* ? That is incorporated into this choreography as well!! (: *FIX ON* from *ANSWER.* I watched this two hours after it came out! Been listening it for a while haha. And Yunho = ice cream, according to San. (Like Rainbow Sherbet!!).
Shoot. I didn’t even notice the animal balloons at the top…. Which Now make me think of their Kingdom performance. Wow! And I didn’t realize the skull thing at the end was a ship on land. Crazy!! And yes…their messages are the best!! Straight to the heart and soul.
Thanxx is an explosion of color and prints and I loved it. I don't even like prints that much. Song was fire, set was dope, outfit made me feel basic... Jesus they delivered.
