one of the bands that kept me alive and kicking......while the 80"s was a dead decade for most music.....we had pallas /iq / twelth night/solstice/ the enid/ marillion /haze /trilogy/ pendragon etc!! great times!
MothershipOracle sí, algo es algo, pero la verdad que todas las ideas ya se habían desarrollado en la década anterior y con perfección y belleza superlativa. Estas bandas están condenadas al ostracismo no obstante su buen nivel...ya estaba todo hecho. Saludos.
Thanks man, I was underage at the Dial Inn in Glasgow for some lunchtime gigs...good times. Must have been about 1980! We sat in the front, touching distance, as an older friend was friendly with them. I recall the bass pedals and all the amazing gear fondly! It was a big treat when the tour bus from Aberdeen rolled in.
There is a story that EMI signed Marillion and were then made aware of Pallas. They'd spent a lot of money on Marillion, signed and sat on Pallas. Dunno if its true.

+MothershipOracle Yes it is so true.

This is absolutely fantastic. So underrated. Pallas with Reed were great.
I saw Pallas at Wolverhampton Poly in 1983...Marillion at Nottingham Rock City 1983....Six of the best at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 (?) .... good days!
This is so good...those were the times; Pallas, Marillion, IQ, Twelfth Night, Pendragon.....
They really were the times indeed. If only time travel was real......, I'd travel back to those days and the endless gigs. Fond fond memories.

Great music. I was lucky to be 21 in 1986......
It`s full of Mellotron voices, really mind-bowing...

i really love that, what a great keyboardist and guitarrist, really impressive, pure magic.
leoprescott March on Atlantis was originally on the "B" side of the Shock Treatment 12" single
Used to watch Pallas at the Cuinzie Neuk in Kinghorn.

It's a pity that they weren't so popoluar like marillion!
Cause they are not as great as them, so simple.
