Absolutely brilliant ~ one of the greatest progressive rock tracks of all times beautifully assembled in an alternate version, thank you for this treasure 🙏👏👏👏
Love these discoveries, when such a recognizable hook or musical phrase is presented on a completely different instrument and landscape. And with the Genesis troop and their catalog, it could happen again & again. Praise prog.
Ditto! Mr Hackett's guitar solo still gives me goose bumps. I play Genesis's music often to kick back & relax to escape this upside down world we're now in. Been a fan since the mid 70's.
I was a teenager in the 70s and I love barebones prog rock. However, being a flutist myself, I don't like block chord harmonization in flute quartets and flute choir. I prefer mixed ensembles aka broken consorts. If the harmony is fully contrapuntal such in Renaissance or earlier music then fine, but block chord harmonization with flutes sucks, imo.
Yes, I also felt that was the only weak part of the arrangement. Also the electric guitar solo felt out of place considering this is labelled as an 'acoustic version'

....chi ha fatto questa MERAVIGLIA? ❤
Beautiful!
It's a Masterpiece work of art. I wish Bach or Beethoven could of heard it.
perché cosa c'entrano perché li dovete chiamare sempre in causa
❤❤❤
Nice version relaxing!!! 🙏💖🎸
Une bien jolie version !
referred to music, since the music is the best, the term relaxing is for me very offensive

@@XanAxDdu "ditto" refers to "the same". I feel the same way about this piece of music as does phoenix. Txs for asking.

At 5:50...and heaven descends to earth...
Non del tutto convincente.
E' il mixaggio fra le varie parti che non convince, sa troppo di collage, anche se prese singolarmente sono buone.
