It has the highest vehicle insurance rates anywhere in north America and a lot crimes. If you are not Punjabi or south asian you should stay out of brampton. Basically it's a 3rd world city in a 1st world country. I also read a hilarious comment saying brampton will be annexed and declare it a union territory of India in Canada lol 😂

This is not cultural imbalance. This is how general population speaks. Sikhs and punjabi Hindus(of punjab) generally speak Gurdwara Sahib to Gurdwara. Therefore, Gurdwara Sahib comes naturally in case of punjabis and Sikhs in particular. You should know the names of all historical gurdwaras they end with Sahib, like Nanakana Sahib, Harmandir Sahib, Patna Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, Hazur Sahib, etc, so saying Gurdwara Sahib is common vocabulary. On the other hand, people of even hindi heartland never say Mandir Sahib, they always say Mandir. So, let alone coming naturally, nobody have ever thought of saying Mandir Sahib. I haven't heard anyone speaking Mandir Sahib to Mandir till date, I am from dehradun where majority of people go to Mandirs and they always say Mandir. Therefore, people visiting Mandirs should start saying Mandir Sahib if you want everyone to say it. Then, everyone would know that we need to speak Mandir Sahib. Even historical Mandir names don't end with Sahib. So, Start from yourself first and leave thinking about little things. And I will be the first one to say: Mandir Sahib. You should as well if you wanna bring about change.
