I almost broke into tears midway through the video. I was a city topper in 10th grade but I couldn't even top my class in 12th grade. Somewhere along the way, I lost my focus and that winner attitude that I used to have. I broke under performance pressure and anxiety. It got so bad that I stopped participating in class discussions even when I knew the right answers, I would always doubt myself. I was afraid of making a fool of myself and that ultimately hampered my performance in 12th boards. I'm starting college in august and my goal is to get back to where I belong. Thank you so much for this video 💗
While reading your comment, I feel like my 2 years younger self is writing this. I may have had a very drastic experience but if I may give a piece of advice - consult a therapist. Don't let these feelings/thoughts stick in there, they start having an impact on life you would have never imagined. Talk to a professional and let it go. Free yourself from all worries, you deserve it 🌸❤️
I can relate. I too was average till class 9 and then I slowly mustered the courage and confidence to remove all my insecurities and behave like toppers. I worked hard, participated in class/ extracurricular activities and I literally started coming first in class. I think we become our biggest enemy when we decide that we can never be like toppers or a work is not doable because it’s simply meant for toppers. Once you start performing well, it becomes your habit which is what keeps toppers going.
All the points mentioned are so valid esp the topper's weakness part. I have been a topper all my school life and it was my dream to be the state topper in 12th boards, but then I took so much pressure that I fainted during my Maths exam which single-handedly brought my percentage down to 85.6 :(
So sorry to hear this happened, but be rest assured - one or two instances here and there won't make or break your life 🌸 I kept thinking 12th boards results mean a lot and it weighed me down. But, trust the fact that there are lots of factors that go behind making anything happen.
Same, I was so nervous before 12th board mathematics that I threw up my breakfast before leaving my house. Thankfully nothing happened during the exam itself and I calmly wrote all the questions with attitude "whatever happens, f*ck it". Got 95 in maths for board, mind you my maths exams score in prelims (the month before boards) barely touched 30.
✨ = I was "2nd last" in my 12th ISC batch with 65% to becoming "college topper" of all semester 1, 2, 3, 4 with 9.0 CGPA Proving to myself and coming out from comfort zone is the biggest satisfaction I ever got!
Yaar aap har baar itna sahi kaise ho skte ho😳😳 I was also a topper during my school but once I came to SRCC, I became an average student. And I could relate to each and every point you said. This is what exactly happened with me, I stopped believing in myself, started procrastinating, had inferiority complex so I stopped participating and showing my presence to the teachers in college. But this video did motivate me to pick up all the qualities I had during my school time because of which I was a topper. I'll definitely try bringing back that mindet and those habits back in life. Thank you so much Shweta❤️❤️
The same thing happened with me till 11th I am and average student but in 12th class I score the marks that no one have expected I can score ... that motivation keep you going ✨

You know I've been always a class topper and a monitor and I scored 86% (ik not so good) in my class 10th where I did a lot of hard work and took the help of coaching also. But in my class 11th, I changed my school and in my new school everything was new to me, I was trying to cope with things, and my teachers were not giving me attention because they wanted their old students to be in a topper position and be honest I got 69% in my class 11th and that was a shock to me, but in class 12th when I got to know what teachers want and how they are behaving with new and average student, I started working hard without any goal that I've to compete with toppers no.. it was always me. And gradually, I evolved in-class activities without being hesitant and you know teachers started knowing my efforts and that's too one teacher didn't want me to compete with topper and that wasn't a problem to me. But in my pre-board exam, I gave my best and scored marks equal to the topper and even higher than him in business studies when the board result was announced everyone was shocked to see my result, I scored 92% without any external help or tuition and topper scored 95%, I know there is a difference but I was at 2nd position and there were many other students whom teachers were assuming to score high.. And after then I got into DU, I never thought to be there but it was just my elder brother who said me "90% above marks le aa tera du me ho jyega" and that was the turning point.. I worked hard without even thinking about result. But in my college again I started losing interest because teachers weren't too good as compared to subject in which I was interested but doesn't matter know. Now I'm preparing for CAT and something I think " mai phle kitna padh leti thi ab kya hua mujje, 12th me mehnat ki thi to sb kuch mila ab Kyu hi kr paa rhi" and you know it hurts a lot when you see how you were. 🙃
I can relate so much, Shivani!! Honestly for a long period of time when I was recovering from depression, I had no interest in working hard. I'd do things without any feelings at all. I used to look back at my old self and wonder - what happened to me. Trust me, because I'm writing this after getting back to my old self and feeling even better - it is possible. I feel energized now, I feel happy now, I feel ambitious now. You can feel the same way, it's just a matter of practice and time. Don't be scared to try thinking it won't happen. If you don't ask, the answer is always no :)
@@Shweta-Arora ... Same here, it's been more than 2 years since I suffered from anxiety and depression. I daily try to do something fruitful, but though I make a plan too, I'm unable to put my best efforts, I'm tired and always feel exhausted. It's not like I don't want, I want but things are not working in my favour. I'm caught in my mind and This would be my 2nd CAT attempt :)

Hey, I have one query- when to leave a set or in other words I am unable to decide that a particular set/question is not doable and let's jump to another set. In one of the tests I picked up a very difficult set and I thought like this set is doable but that wasn't the case and I ended up wasting my time. If possible can you please make a video on this.
Go with familiarity and rank those sets from 1 to 4 1 being the most familiar and 4 the least one For example, if you think a set based on set theory seems easy but you didn't had enough practice, keep it at last. Try it after you have solved familiar ones and let it go if you are unable to crack it under 2 minutes If you were unable to solve it during practice, there isn't really a chance you would be able to do it in mocks And on the other hand, if you see a set on arrangements that may appear tougher than the 1st, but you have solved a lot of quality problems on the same, go for it before anything You may take more time but atleast you know the mechanism or the approach for that kind of problems and can understand what to do

Hii dii Could you please make a video on what to do when nothing goes right in your life , like you know what you have to do but still you can't because nothing feels alright, absolutely nothing!!!!!
To summarise it all... Become obsessed with topping. Is it really worth it ? Was not a topper at all. Got the highest paying job in my undergrad. There is rarely a correlation between success, knowledge and being a topper.
About point 6 I have seen toppers good at everything . Many toppers around me have been good at multiple things. My 10 and 12th topper friend was also the state captain of cricket team.. Like this I have also seen in few friends and cousins?? What are your views on this. My friends say that when you excel at one field you excel in other fields..
You're right - like I mentioned in the video also - they're good at switching focus from one activity to another. So, they don't believe in multi-tasking, at a point of time, they're only focused on one thing.
Oh my godd I can't even express how happy I am after watching this video. This was so helpful👍 Can you please make a video on how toppers prepare their notes?!
To be honest before watching this video I thought ki yei sab content k liye hoga but from your 1st point to last its all valid and very relatable…..it was really inspiring thanks sweta for this video ….keep sharing these facts ..
Thank you so much, Prince 🌸 I understand mostly content these days is driven by clickbait. But, hope the upcoming videos also do justice to the titles 💎
I used to be a topper and get town first , college first etc in public exams. But later in 2020 one incident happened where my whole life messed up and i was just struggling to stay alive. Even though I'm fine for now, i didn't understand why I don't get good marks now. After watching i realised i used to do all those stuff and now I'm not doing even half of those i used to do.. since I got some habits during the bad time.. I can't let go of those even tho I'm fine now.. have to do sthg for change again :(
Till 10th was sort of the topper coz I was like a pain to many people, teachers used to use my example- maze bhi kare but padhai bhi kari dusro ko bhi padhaya. But after that circumstances changed environment changed and peeche baithna shuru kia, specially in engineering felt this is not for me, alag alag cheezo mein lag gaya but now I'm sure (i think) about my life. And yes truly said about the fact that toppers ke pass khone ko bahut kuch hai par average vaalo ke pass paane ke liye.😊
Thanks a lot for sharing your story, Lakshay! Didn't know this. And honestly, you can always turn things around - it just takes some patience to do it.

I have travelled the journey of a topper to an average. Toppers just don't want to top for the sake of being a topper, they top every time to maintain their dominance and self esteem. I'm preparing for CAT with a virtual institute but I haven't turned a single page since last 1 month. I was student of biology hence my maths was resting in peace still I'm able to understand every single thing. Now running out of motivation please help @Sweta Arora.
They do not tell these things because it had become a part of their life and they don't see it as some extra effort. Its basically like a daily routine to them!!!
I personally think - it may take more effort for some people to learn something than others but who said it was gonna be easier? I don't shy away from working hard. If you don't too, you'd not be scared to go the extra mile 🌸
Highly Greatful to you ma'am.. I wholeheartedly request you to please have the video on product management. As I'm highly willing to have knowledge of the insights of this. Kindly please do the need ful to me🙏
Great video as always! I like to call myself an above average student as I love gaining knowledge but tests me utna mehnat nii hoti...the participation and performance pressure thing is actually true..in my 3rd yr there was this particular subject that i really liked so I would read prior to the lectures and would participate during lectures (many times I would be the only one giving answers) then that sort of backfired as well bcs everyone started saying "Tera toh ye acha hai tu toh krlegi"...and teachers going you're "an outstanding student". Then, During the final exam of that subject I felt that performance pressure so much!! I talked to the professor of that subject on the day of exam and her exact words were "hmm expectations hogyi hain isliye Darr lagra hai... performance pressure aa rha hai" thankfully the exam went well but i know i underperformed. Long story short yes this happens and thank you once again shweta di for this video...will surely apply these tips from now on ❣️✨🌸
Yes these points manditate I have been a topper in school and topped cuet to even without studies and still scholar at college the 1-3points manditate my journey I divide work on days left basis I ,,am topper so I think I need to master every exam and I study acc to weightage ,,even If I study before exam I know imp topics nd read them ,,nd showcase answering is proo. ....if u know little but want to score full👍👍 But I took centuries when everybody kept on saying u can't do ,,😖 but theres a spike to prove them wrong that keep u going ,and after that accomplishment ,,u gain a amount of confidence to it further so ,,, topper r toppers becoz they have some kind of +ve attitude even if they study before night at the focus at peak with score ,,as they r doing it 👍👍👍 nd wht else toppers do is they keep learning new things build up there skills moreover they have limited connection nd wise to enjoy nd balances life
In 11th (in 2016) I scored 9% and 11% in Accountancy and Math. And in 12th (in 2017) I got 92% in both (could have got 98% in math but I made a silly mistake). I followed the same things she said when I needed to pass.

Hey Shweta, loved the video. I was wondering if you could make a video regarding people who'd want to go for technical or Product management roles post MBA. As in what placements happen for tech roles, does any specific college provide some advantage over the others. I am only aware of Amity and Master's Union, the latter I got to know from your vids only. But both of them are not ranked as a top college.

Great suggestion, let me see if I can find someone 🌸
Thank you mam ! I really needed it. THANK YOU. ❤
So, they don't believe in multi-tasking, at a point of time, they're only focused on one thing.
very well curated video..
Oh my godd I can't even express how happy I am after watching this video. This was so helpful👍
Can you please make a video on how toppers prepare their notes?!
Thank you so much for the video suggestion! Will surely try making a video on it
Thankyou so much topper didi🥰🥰
Great video again, enjoyed it a lot, keep going.👌
Thank you soooo much 🌸🌸
To be honest before watching this video I thought ki yei sab content k liye hoga but from your 1st point to last its all valid and very relatable…..it was really inspiring thanks sweta for this video ….keep sharing these facts ..
I can't let go of those even tho I'm fine now.. have to do sthg for change again :(
Mam , please a make video on BBA vs B.com? Which one is better ?
Mam please make videos in english it will help us to improve our english.
Thank you for the knowledge you have shared with us.
Grateful 🌸🌸 I prefer Hindi as a language, more comfortable for me. Use subtitles, they'll help you.
@@Shweta-Arora Thank you for this Mam.
@@Shweta-Arora thanks to you shweta. Now-a-days social media is all about I'm so rich, I'm so beautiful, I'm so talented, I'm so successful.
People don't like to share their "Khamiya" but you've always been real! Stay the same❤️✌️
@@Shweta-Arora btw I wanted to clarify engineering mein interest nahi tha lekin I'm an engineering graduate. 😄

Again a useful and informative video for students 👌
how to learn excel?? free resources>>>>>how you learned?? please make video on this topic
Sure! You can use YT free resources for Excel. I had Excel taught in school
Very nice video didi 💙
Your content quality is improving day by day. Keep it going. 👏
Thank you swetha di
Super grateful 🌸
Nice video 👍👍
Try changing thumbnail title from "topper" to "extraordinary"
It can increase CTR. So that more people can watch it.
I am so happy that i found this channel.... i really love the way u present everything with a smile ... always stay blessed.....🤗🤗🤗
Thank you soooo much 🌸🌸

Can you please make a video on how you became a gold medalist in DU
Yesterday's VARC master class was great. 👍🍀
You are truly an inspiration Shweta Di.Thank u so much for the wise advice.😊
Thanks 💕
They do not tell these things because it had become a part of their life and they don't see it as some extra effort. Its basically like a daily routine to them!!!
Trueeee!! So apt 🌸
I'm the mixture of both. 😂 Sometimes i have topper's qualities and sometimes i have average 's qualities. What does that mean? 😣
same, lying between
What about capacity which is natural
I personally think - it may take more effort for some people to learn something than others but who said it was gonna be easier? I don't shy away from working hard. If you don't too, you'd not be scared to go the extra mile 🌸
Thankyou so much didi for your guidance and inspiration
Grateful 🌸😀
Highly Greatful to you ma'am..
I wholeheartedly request you to please have the video on product management.

@@akshaybansal2817 Thank you so much, will work harder 🌸🌸
Long story short yes this happens and thank you once again shweta di for this video...will surely apply these tips from now on ❣️✨🌸
Hi shewta di ek video is par how to choose your career amongst marketing finance and hr.

hey shweta...can u plz tell me about any youtube channel which have the best easy approach for data interpretation ?
Tru Elites Grid, I've heard they're good for DILR
Yes these points manditate I have been a topper in school and topped cuet to even without studies and still scholar at college the 1-3points manditate my journey I divide work on days left basis I ,,am topper so I think I need to master every exam and I study acc to weightage ,,even If I study before exam I know imp topics nd read them ,,nd showcase answering is proo. ....if u know little but want to score full👍👍
But I took centuries when everybody kept on saying u can't do ,,😖 but theres a spike to prove them wrong that keep u going ,and after that accomplishment ,,u gain a amount of confidence to it further so ,,, topper r toppers becoz they have some kind of +ve attitude even if they study before night at the focus at peak with score ,,as they r doing it 👍👍👍 nd wht else toppers do is they keep learning new things build up there skills moreover they have limited connection nd wise to enjoy nd balances life
In 11th (in 2016) I scored 9% and 11% in Accountancy and Math. And in 12th (in 2017) I got 92% in both (could have got 98% in math but I made a silly mistake). I followed the same things she said when I needed to pass.
Fail in 11th pcm in this year
@@pankajgoswami665Reply to me back when you score above average

Thank you sooo much! This means a lot ❤️🌸
Hey Kshitij, sure! Let me try finding more about PM Tech. For now, on Tuesday I'll be sharing how to get into PM Tech, in that I can cover the companies also.
@@Shweta-Arora hii di please make a video regarding all good non tech posts and companies and roadmap for btech students who want to pursue non tech job with a blend of tech

Diiii How To Make Balance Between Concepts Learning & Practice ? For Example I Want To 50 Ques Per Day In Quants But Lectures & Then Understanding Lectures, Making Notes Itself Takes Majority Of Time & I Couldn't Reach My Weekly Target. Any Tips ?
Di after watching turns of vedios. I'm not understanding CAT ke sath baki jese Cmat, xat, snap, etc q dete the. Like should we prepare for only exam or for all. Would be helpful if u respond it.
Hey Kareena, depends apka goal kya hai. If you want to get into the institutes for which these other exams are conducted then take them. I'd say CAT, XAT, NMAT & IIFT to kaafi log dete hain.
🙏 Please make video on CA + MBA..🙏
Hey Dishan, what exactly would you like to know?
