True, but some of the material was bit raunchy. I would not have imagined they'd go for that. Not complaining just surprised. Love that they were not so "stuffy and could laugh at it.
I remember the shock of the audience before they burst out laughing when they say for the first time "My Daddy says Moon's Mummy is a right state but he still would!"

I watched this when it was on in the West End and it was so funny, it was my first, and so far only, play. Mischief Theatre are geniuses and I saw this exact cast as the regular Simon actor was on his honeymoon so we saw this understudy
I saw this with a different cast (i think apart from Charlie and Bryony) a year ago at my local theatre. It was such a memorable, deep, and funny story. Seeing this now, i can't imagine this cast performing this story because the cast i saw fit the character description more and has a bit more chemistry with each other.
The most realistic bit is ‚Katie‘ saying with disgust for Pam, how much better at cleaning her Dad is. You get so proud of anything half-decent your parents do, I remember arguing who had the best Dad when I was little.

I can't believe that could do that in front of royalty. And they loved it.
Just because they're royalty, doesn't mean they don't have a sense of humour

You are all forgetting William and Kate are parents to a 6, 3 and 1 year-old. This is daily life for them 😂

just been to the Norwich show ,wish they could have put this energy into their performance
what's the song at the start?
Sounds a bit like Radiohead's 'No Surprises' played on a xylophone
And maybe the swtiched to a major key, so that it sounds more happy/childish than melancholic
Anyone know of anywhere to watch the full show?
The full show is called Groan Ups. It tours around the UK sometimes!
