Well, I would say it is pretty close to ... never. I was in chat with some former employee of Meta. And he said that in company was strict rule "never ever develop anything on Ipad." "And don´t ask why." So managers and policies change but I wouldn´t keep my expectation very high. I mean, if they wanted, they would do it long time ago - ios, windows and mac version exist for many years and developing for Ipad is not that long compared to other platforms.
So they could, but simply doesn´t want to.

There is some issue with the keyboard in the Whatsapp web application. Whenever I stop typing, the keyboard goes but that area does not come up with chats.
