What I really like about you is your humility! Lets face it your one of the best! But your approachable and honestly your interesting. The storm snap lock was my first. A guy that I met during a seasonal golf league when I used to work at a golf course gave it to me so that I could practice hooking the ball. It was a good starter, but because it was a 14lb and I use 15, I couldn't get the ball to hook as much as I can with a 15. So I started looking at other bowling balls.
The first one that I bought was the phaze 4. I loved practicing with this ball, until I found out that it's not legal to use in certain competitions. Some leagues you can use it, but beyond that you can't use it. I didn't want to do good with a ball knowing that I can't take it to bigger competitions, so I then started looking for a strong hooking ball. I bought the OG gem (before the exotic and magic came out).
As my game evolved, I bought many different balls to diversify my arsenal. It's been almost 3 years since I started practicing consistently, and my game continues to evolve.
The orange and green Rhino by Brunswick was my very ball. I loved that ball so much. The Rhino, along with the twist are two of the best beginner balls of all time.

Jason, I haven’t bowled for 20 years or coached since then and I’m trying to catch up my understanding. I have watched a lot of you bowling since my interest has come up again and have a question for you. When I see you on a difficult pair it looks to me like your follow through is different than normal, your elbow seems to come more inside on the follow through than normal, is this a deliberate adjustment?
G’day Belmo I’m just starting to learn how to bowl two handed and I need some help on getting speed as my two handed releases are quite slow. Do you have any tips?

Can guarantee he'll stay long enough until he becomes Hall of Fame elegible. He's a first round ballet, but you have to stay on the tour for 20 years. So we have about another 4 years at least, dreading the day he calls it quits tho

from 70-80s..transitioning from the old side weight finger weight ..under palm to the new layouts has not worked out for my game..any simple thoughts..i bowled with norm way back 81-82 fort worth scratch league..then he went pro 83 and the rest is history..best in 24..

It would be awesome if you could add some more balls to your mobile game, maaaybe lower the price on some that would be great too!! Your awesome man a complete inspiration to me. I watched a random vid of you a year ago and now I’m a 190 average two hand bowler. My goal is to get good enough to bowl regionals maybe even a ball deal. Dream big or don’t dream at all!!
your my insparation you know?as when i first started playing bowling i threw 1 hand and i got all gutters even with bumper😅..... so i decided to switch to 2 hand cause my father told me of you and not kidding i cannot throw straight and i got 78 the first game i played 2 hands and now iaverage 150 and thats alot to me

How are your Fate and Journey laid out? I would love to know
Hey Belmo. My first SPI ball was the Storm X Factor. It was from 2003, but I got it from one of my friends, so I didn't start throwing it until around 2009. I just picked up a new Phaze 2 April 2023. As far as averages go, i can only afford to have 1 open per game to maintain my average, so to make 1 more spare per game would mean going clean every week. My opens are usually a split from transition adjustments, so the only way to improve my average would be to go from 7 strikes to 8 per game on average.

I NO LONGER wear sliding bowling shoes they are TOO troublesome & sliding throws you off any how. just wear shoes that stop NOT slide at all like most tennis shoes. I have my highest avg so far over the last 3 years & I have only been wearing stopping tennis shoes since this season Sept 13 2023. why worrie about stopping??? when it's easier to stop on your mark before the foul line then slide on your mark??? why does most bowlers slide or have there opposite foot out in front?? I also switched from opposite foot in front to SAME foot as throw had. throw right had stop or slide on right foot it make WAY more since that way & feels better too. have that foot out in front as your first guide!! makes WAY more since too me. I always thought both the slide & sliding or stopping on the same foot as hand you throw with ALWAYS made more since to me & the other way is totally ridiculous. but I wanted to be the sheep that followed the bowling rules until I turned 65 that is I still could only achieve a 187 avg that way. I throw that bowling miss information out the window along with a lousy high avg of a 187 hardly ever bowing 3 games 600 series!!!

Belmo I want to know why Caboolture,caloundra,aspley and strathpine centres use such little oil that at least 30 percent of the bowlers have quit the sport due to hating the alleys. if someone like yourself doesnt do something we will loose the sport in brisbane area.
I bowl here in strathpine its fun but i see all the bad reviews on google still love my bowling though.

Well why didn't i think of that...
