This website requires registration, but if you need just to see the map, and you don't need to register your flights, you can see the map in DJI app, they match. Flights require prior registration on the website above. You need to specify time and chose area on the map. If you specify max altitude 60m, radius up to 200-300m , and zone flight is marked as green or orange, approve is given automatically, otherwise you need to wait for up to 4 days. Btw, the website is a bit glitchy. Regarding registration before arriving to the airport: you don't have to register your drone to enter the country, but you might check airline rules regarding batteries capacity. Most likely you need to take them with you to the cabine. So, to fly in Malta you need to make those steps: 1. Have a valid UAS operator registration certificate for you drone and related QR code attached to your drone 2. EASA Drone pilot certificate 3. Third-party liability insurance 4. Register your flights on the website above Digital copies of 1, 2 and 3 are need to register your flights in 4. Keep copies of documents and confirmation of flight registration with you.
