My xiaomi note 4 just crashed and now I'm looking for a new entry level phone... The thing is, there is no xiaomi agency where I live, so if I have an issue with my phone I can't repair it... So I have to go with the Huawei.
I had the same opinions before, after using the Y9 2019 and now Honor 8X, even though they still use usb on their devices, it charges fast. Please try their products.
They likely stuck with Micro USB because of excess inventory and another thing would be it also prevents consumer who cheap out by buying dangerously cheap generic Type-C USB cable from damaging their devices or potentially outright fry the phone, charger and other electrical circuitry in their homes.

i have MIUI 11 and it fixes some of those problems. Bringing up task view while at home screen is still stuttery as ever tho
