Klaus & Caroline | Soulmates AU

Alternate Universe in which: Klaus and Caroline are soulmates. Klaus is an immortal who falls in love with reincarnations of Caroline repeatedly over the centuries. He finds her, usually when she's around 17 years old, every few decades, and although she never knows who he is, she always falls for him as well. However, this time things are different as the memories of all her former lives begin to resurface. She remembers how they met and fell in love in 1750 in Rome, then again in 1804 in Paris, again in 1882, the 1920s and finally in the modern day. Although they often get separated, they always find their way back to one another.
Roughly follows a similar plot to the movie/book 'Fallen'.
