I absolutely love Georgetown! Did you know, the neighborhood purposefully doesn’t have metro access? Because of its proximity to the river, and desire for historic preservation, no metro was ever built into that part of the city.
Nice to see the memorable city as my first landed of America. It’s different from NY. The streets are so paved and don’t feel busy! At that time we we were teenagers and didn’t walk around the city freely. You were walking by the very side the George Town University 😉

The metro for Georgetown is Foggy Bottom but they have metro bus to take you to the metro.
