I think paying for early access is fair, besides have the mods we have especially script mods probably wouldn't be possible if creators couldnt make something off it. Scripting takes a lot of time and updates usually break them frequently

i’ve been downloading cc since the sims 2, and i never realized that you can right click a package file and use “save as” 😭 you just changed my entire process omg!! thank you 🥹
The easiest way to check new CC when you have too many mods, rename your actual mod folder to real mods. Then you download all new CC into a new folder called mods. Load up the game, See what you like then move the ones you like into the real mod folder and change the names back. Don’t save when you exit game.

TSR itself does not give you viruses!!!!! Sometimes the creators put malware into the downloads! AND you can also get viruses from the websites that you get redirected to for the downloads.

But , YES, let those creators come here and offer their bomb ass items for the sims 4 . The sims 4 SHOULD look like some of these detailed CC. And considering they are perfectly willing to charge us an arm and a leg for expansion packs that look like shit to be honest . It's not really greedy for them to charge for their hard work. These cc deserve it 👏
i think cc creators should be paid for their work. i never said that they don’t deserve money. i wouldn’t play the game without cc so i think they deserve to be paid for it. there are a LOT of ppl who think cc shouldn’t be paid for at all and i am not one of those ppl. however, $30 is way too much. you can buy a whole expansion pack with that. also, why would i pay $30 for CC from a money hungry second lifer who is obviously preying on the sims community, when we have actual simmers who have been making CC for years and who we trust in the community and they don’t even charge that much. also, the exchange is not even at all. with $25, you can buy so much on second life. why would you charge simmers $25 for your stuff when it wouldn’t even cost that much for me to buy that same stuff on second life that you’re converting to the sims???? it is very greedy to come over to a game that you don’t play fr and charge $25 when we don’t know you and when ppl like kikovanity, ebonix, coco games (people who have been making cc for us for YEARS and who we know) don’t even charge that much. if you wanna pay $25 for cc then good for you. but you’re being taken advantage of. and don’t try to invalidate the rest of us who are rightfully upset that we’re being preyed upon

If I want a bike built , easily 30 bucks usd. Ive seen people take months t9 build a bike piece by piece .Not to mention , furniture and other items that cost $10 each , which adds up .
