Don't move the Thing's arm up and down in this particular place (shoulder) or you will damage the pin. This place is only for sideways movement. the movement around (forward and backward) is further where the buterfly is. I know it's a weird design, but that's how they did it. I saw photos on the Internet where people ripped off Thing's arms. You have to be very careful with this, because there is a very thin pin there. There is a video on RUclips where a guy takes out his arms and shows these pins.

Mezco Thing was scaled at the perfect height. Ben Grimm is 6ft tall, not 7ft tall!

i like that reed chest, is basically a fit man build from the 50-60s, and my god can you imagine the engeneering dread of making the elastic bit still stay still with diferent center of gravity ?the only thing i would miss from the thing is the cigars, but maybe he didnt smoke in early comics, or marvel/disney has a no tabacco rule for figure.1:52 you can see sue vjay O_O great atention to detail, lol

Reed is the best figure in this set next to herbie - i wish The Thing didnt have the arm set up he does tho - the thing is litterally made to break

Decades ago, Marvel Editor in chief Joe Quesada mandated that they shouldn't feature any smoking characters in the comics i.e: The Thing , Logan smoking cigars on panel etc.. That has been the rule since sadly.
