I think the rules are that if the enemy reaches the screen border the hero loses by default.... which is pretty logical considering that in the game you need to stop the enemy from advancing
Nah alleria is straight up trash, no dmg and close to none blocking power. Really iron hide could've balanced heros but idk what they think while making them

after so many years about this game remembered! Oooh, this is my favorite childhood game. Although it is cruel in part, but for me it is nostalgia, not so long ago I downloaded it to pass 100% with all the achievements and on all difficulties!
I think out of everyone in this fight, Thor is the only hero that is RNG based if whether or not they could actually win this fight. cause from the looks of it, if Mjolnir had procced more often, he would have dealt enough damage to win the fight. However because of its low chance to activate, the fight would have gone either way depending on your luck. this is not the same case for Gerald. Because while Shield of Retribution *does* also activate based on RNG, its chances are much more higher compared to Mjolnir that he's a lot easier to guarantee winning than Thor.

Wait you say Tenshi can't activate Iron rush if he fighting only one enemy? I got many times when turned berserk when he saw any enemy. Even the sigle rat can trigger him.
My favorite hero is Tenshi. This old man is a bit funny, and that's because from a distance he looks just a weak old man, but in reality he is very strong and uses karate moves as if he were a young man in his twenties.😂😂
I think Magnus could have won his fight with a little better management. If he was put higher so all his clones would block the Dark Slayer, he would have a better shot.
Any reason why the ranged heroes stand in the middle, and slowly back away, instead of standing at the start and essentially have double the time to deal damage?
The thing i find funny is that sir Gerald's shield deals more damage than his sword which makes sense because of how the shield glows when it blocks meaning it's a magic shield and magic attacks can Pierce through armor but c'mon iron hide this s*it stupid but funny 😂
I mean Oni, execution strike have 20-30% to oneshot any unit that not heroes, and will deal 300-450 true damage no matter the armor, he pretty good in general use tbh, and hold his own well against everything
I think the idea was that they needed to defeat them in this small space of path. Which does get into the oddly specific requirements of "can x beat", but in this case it's a bit more reasonable since taking the entire path length to defeat an enemy isn't exactly indicative of a strong hero. In this short path length, getting them in melee combat is important since rather than dealing greater damage while the enemy moves forwards, they do low damage while the enemy doesn't move at all, which is marginally better than the alternative.

The slam during iron time also deals true damage

It's quite obvious with enough retreating the ranged units will live and kill the enemy eventually, this is true with the melee heros too
