I've been using these for years.
Another thing they do that others don't is toughen up your fingertips.
Apart from the regular grip, I hold this with my thumb and fingers nearly straight and just behind the tips;
this works your thumb, but also the grip with the hand in a more open position where it's weakest.
If you've ever shaken hands with someone who has huge paws... it's like that. 😆
Only thing that's not awesome about these is that the plastic guides within each spring gradually crack & break,
which makes its function wobbly.
Expect to buy a new one every year or 2 if you use it daily.

i would actually like to see one with a less plasticy feel on the fingertips
