Hello, did you ever figure out where your water leak was coming in from in your mid-berth? I have a 2001 sundancer 280 and I am getting the same water leak. Thinking it has to be coming in from somewhere on the aft deck. Thanks.- Matt

It dried up for us but since we only can use the boat half the year, it’s hard to tell.

@@fireby4070Just curious what is the top end on this boat? If I ever have a chance I want one. I grew up with a 245 Sundancer. We had it for 24 years.

Hi! We have just bought an exact Sea Ray 280 and we also have the exact issue with water under the cushions of the mid cabin. We’re you able to find the cause or source of the water? We’d appreciate any help thanks!

It hasn’t happened again to us. It appears to have been a single event - related to a gas tank spill by the previous owner.
