I appreciate that this isn't so much about the science of wood working and more about art and flow of creativity
Very cool, Tim! 😃

Really neat and fun, Tim.

Always enjoy watching you turn. You always seem to have fun and take us on these little journeys of discovery. Thank you!
That is pretty cool!
You are such an adventurous guy! Great fun Tim👏👏👏
Always interesting, and I always learn something from you about turning! Thank you so much, Tim!
Creative! I love it when a plan comes together, sort of.
Looks great 👍
I always enjoy your videos. I was not sure, that branch wasn't going to learn to fly.
“Just for the fun of it” should be a poster to hang near the lathe. Great little flower and definitely a one of a kind turning.
Nice use of a bush. Beats throwing away!
Thanks! incredible work!
Hey Tim, I like it! Great idea.
Cool end result you got! Nicely “winged”…. 👍
Thank ou very much for your answer, It's very appreciate. I like very much all of your videos.
Creative idea!
Amazing.. love your videos👍❣️
Was turning a bowl a few years ago and stopped the lathe when a dark spot appeared in the bowl. Lo an behold there must’ve been a hundred ants crawl out of a hole in the bowl. Had to be the dizziest ants ever!
Looked like a walking flower
I've seen you turn some pretty wonky stuff and manage to get something worthwhile but I thought you bit off way too much with this piece. And then you started moving the centers around and stuff seemed to emerge a bit. Then a couple of branches came off and there it was. A pretty little flower on a stand. Very good Tim.👍👍 You lucked out again, or . . . did you really have that in mind in the first place. Will we ever know?🤔 Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
Looked pretty dicey to turn, but ended up looking cool.
Hello Tim,
All of my gouges are fingernail, I don't like very much. What is the angle of your gouge to work this piece? I have all of your video there are very interestant. Thank your very much.
My spindle gouge is 45° and my bowl gouge is 65°. I put the fingernail grind on and make sure that I have a slight curve or arch on the sides. That way I don't have a completely flat surface when I'm turning the tool and using the wing
You're nuts lol.
Typical Oaky! Lol.😂😮
Emerging flower?
