It's unique how Whiteriver does their dances :) I'm from San Carlos and the Girl dances while getting painted . #ApachePride #Beautiful

It is always great to see these ceremonies posted so others can view them and enjoy it. Whether it is the first time for the godmother or not, she should get advice from elders on how to do certain things, traditionally. I was told to always turn clockwise, not the opposite. When the godmother ties her t-necklace, she goes the opposite, when she picks up an item, she turned the opposite, whenever your at a ceremony, you always turn clockwise, not the other way. When the godmother started massaging the girl, she went the opposite at the beginning then went the right way. Event the man refilling the water, is not supposed to cross her path and walk towards the right, behind her and refill it, not the opposite. She's supposed to hang onto the feathers, with no support from the godfather. As you can see, the godfather is grabbing hold of her fingers as she is being pulled. Good to see this part of the ceremony, especially performing it the White Mtn way. Thanks for posting.

@@eliyahtoinfinity9023 there's reasons why things have to be done a certain way. It's like baking a cake. If you want the cake to come out the right way you NEED to follow instructions precisely. Same concept goes with these ceremonies... I know its a five year old video but still...
