What made this drama more lovely was the fact that he was arrogant, he was flawed even though he seemed perfect to others. She brought him down from his cold cloud filled with cockiness, loneliness, anger and heartache. She have him new experiences and made him open up to realize shit he never knew before. He has is anger issues and she always tells it to his face when she has a problem ans u can see later on ,SI trying to restrain himself and walking away more when he gets fed up with it but always thinks things over and comes back to her. He is honestly in love with her. I got mad by how long SHE took but I love her too cuz she was realistic.
I like her character because she doesn't give in too easily. It takes time to get over a crush and it isn't fair for Si if she dates him without any emotion. She had to make sure that she likes him a lot because it is her first relationship and she wants it to last. You can see she really loves him because if I were her, I would've broken up with him since his mother hurt her friends. Shancai is a very independent girl and it would hurt her pride so much when his mom looked down on her when she is a very valuable only daughter of her parents.

I did really like certain aspects of this drama, however I feel like there were many times when it turned abusive. This made me wish, as much as liked them together, that the show would go in the direction of getting out of an abusive relationship. I mean, come on, you can't try and tell me that slamming you're partner against a wall, making her cry and putting her through all this emotional stress is healthy. Why would you do that to someon you loved repeatedly? even if you yourself had problems in how you interacted with people?
