On this day, 24th January, we remember the legendary Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, who left us in 2011 but continues to live in our hearts through his unparalleled music. Known for his mesmerizing voice and mastery over Hindustani classical music, Panditji was truly a gem of Indian music.
In this special tribute, we present a rare video recording of him rendering Raag Bihag, followed by a soulful Khamaj Thumri - "Hamare Toh Nahi Bane Giridhari". Let us come together to celebrate the life and artistry of this maestro of the highest calibre.

I personally find walawalkar's harmonium playing louder than the singer, i have always enjoyed and cherished more the combination of Eknath Thakurdas on harmonium and Ghulam Rasool on tabla far more enchanting, exciting and soothing to the mind and ears
