Hi Jenne - great video. This is one of the hardest steps for me to understand and to execute. I am somewhat older and don’t have a lot of experience but I really believe that I can make this happen. Thanks again, I will keep you posted!

I have been struggling for YEARS to get the sound(properly) doing the pullback/pickups with both feet at the same time. The advice about sitting back into your hips FINALLY clicked it for me!(no pun intended)
    Thank you, for your videos.

I totally understand what you mean by 'gripping the floor'. As soon as I did that, my sound quality just improved so much! :D

Thanks! I am working on double pullbacks right now. I like you mentoned the movement inside the shoe!

Hello Jenne, I find it difficult to lift the second foot while having the first striking one up in the air, so in the end, I don't make it to get the four sounds. Is this just a "gotta-practice- a-lot" matter, or is there a trick to work this out? Thanks a lot from Italy, you're the coolest teacher in the world : *)

This is the kind of thing where using counters or barres for leverage to get your foot to understand the movement would be helpful, but also just practicing the movement casually while standing or sitting so your foot gets used to the idea of coming up and making a quick strike. Then practice doing it for real and it will improve over time. :) If you want you can dm me on instagram or fb a video of you doing some and I can offer pointers :)
