What's New SOLIDWORKS 2022 - BOM Detailed Cut Lists

New in SOLIDWORKS 2022, detailed cut lists are now supported across all BOM types with table options for dissolving part level rows and support for Show, Hide, and Promote configuration options. Additionally, balloon behavior for subweldment cut list items has been improved to properly correspond to the linked BOM table. In this video, we provide a simple use case for these options and demonstrate the new capability.

I see that some of your tubes are mitered at a 45. How do you convey this information without an individual part drawing for that specific tube?

Is there any way to implement the "dissolve part level rows" in SW2021 SP5? I have an assembly of weldments but the quantities are confusing when I include the cutlist.

How to solve an issue with hidden description of suppressed components in assembly tree in SW 2022?

I just want the weldment-part to show the material in the BOM because it's part of a larger assembly. Instead, all my weldment-parts in the BOM have blank materials. I don't want to show the entire cut-list because it'll get too big.
