- It's a special feeling to pay tribute to Vidushi Sunanda Patnaik through this cult song "Jeevana Patra" based on Raag Bhairavi. Some experiences are memorable and can't be expressed through words. This is what I felt when I met Sunanda madam and sought her blessings. Few of those precious moments I shared at the end credit. Hope you all appreciate my effort.

Odiya language is one of the oldest classical language of lndia .lts written form is found in stone carvings of Samrat Kharvel and Ashok in different places of Odisha. This song was written by famous odiya poet Baikunthnath Pattnaik and first sung by his daughter Sunanda Pattnaik, a famous classical singer.

So much so that I have started watching odishi classical dances. I think Odishi is the sweetest language till now I have ever listened. The Sarangi played by the master in this song is süperb. I now desire to learn to play this Sarangi…How can I learn.. would someone guide me. I think Odishi language is older than even Sanskrit…what is the origin of Odishi language?
