I think Miko is asking Aqua: "Do you have anyone to play it with" and Aqua answered: "There doesnt seem to be anyone (to play with) here" because everyone in the group has a different answer from her, so she is not refering to her past

I never started making friends. It’s them approaching me and I just went along with the flow. Otherwise I was content with my alone time back in classes since day one.

Not really. I never joined my 10 years after classmates reunion as adults.
I never meet up with anyone in person anymore after graduation, only communicating through Facebook.
We rarely ever get lonely. But when we do, it almost always fades away not long after.

I love aqua. Many vtubers say they are introverts. Which is true to one degree or another. But aqua's the only true introvert. If she had found streaming she seriously would be a shut in. As in never ever leaving the house playing games all day. Stuff like that.
I was really disappointed when she stop streaming frequently. But she is the only one of the few that have done similar things that I understand. It legit fits her actual personality.
That's absolutely true. She's not just introverted, she has severe social anxiety. I think it's a big part of why everything she's accomplished has been so impressive. If it wasn't for Hololive she'd never have had the chance to perform for people on stage, and she truly was born to do it.
She seems to have gotten quite a bit better over the last 2 years, and has been consistently busy. Now her infrequent streaming has more to do with other work than mental health issues. So proud of our onion
@@Pulledgroin She's absolutely not the only one on the severe social anxiety or other life skills end, with the stories of the various Holomems who only end up going to the doctor because their mothers take them, or how Pekora apparently used to not leave her room and even doesn't get invited on various trips with other members because they don't want to end up pressuring her.
But yeah, Aqua even if she is playing it up a bit for comedy on streams (as she claims at least), she's definitely one of the ones who seems to have a rougher time of it than a lot of the others, though yeah in general all of the more introverted girls seem to have gotten at least a bit more easily able to socialize and deal with life stuff than when they started out. That said, a majority of the introverts are just...regular introverts, in that socializing is something that they can do but isn't necessarily energizing.
Well she has severe social anxiety. Introversion does not necessarily mean that your'e shy or insecure. If your'e looking at personality disorders then avoidant personality disorder means that your'e clinically shy and insecure, schizoid means that your'e clinically or abnormally introverted. The latter is far more common in men. And is not the same as being shy. But you can actually be a social introvert. Extroverts get energized from being with people and introverts get tired from being with people. But they can still enjoy it.
