It takes an attack with the power level of 10,000 to destabilize the core causing the planet to explode, to destroy a planet with the attack itself take far far more, there are a few videos on the subject, both on dragon ball itself and on things like the deathstar.

When Ginyu transformation theme kicks in, all i can imagine is buu charging his ki blast and, whilst Goku and Vegeta powerless to stop it, launches it at them, and all they can do is flee, knowing that they lost. Such a powerful moment in DBZ. It can’t be topped.
Buu is hands down one of my 3 favorite DBZ villains (the other 2 being Frieza and Cooler) of all time! And I'd say a pretty underrated villain at that. Pink has never been a more terrifying color.

But compared to those 2, not so much with Majin Buu. In fact, compared to Cell, Goku and Vegeta got scared right at seeing what Kid Buu was going to launch. Never happened with Cell really. I just compared to the Android and Cell Sagas, the Majin Buu Saga was best due to how your own friend and ally turns into an enemy, how savage of an enemy Majin Buu really was, and how the fight even needed Vegito, a fusion of 2 fighters, to even keep UP with the enemy. Vegito wasn't in the Android and Cell Sagas. Android and Cell Sagas were good. But the Majin Buu Saga took it to a whole different level.
The addition at 4:45 added a sense of dread to the theme. As if this is the villains version of Ginyu Transformation.
