【4K HDR】Visiting a Mysterious Temple with Thousands of Foxes

This is another video of the visit to an interesting temple in Tokyo. Some of you might know that the Japanese believe in various gods. Some gods originally came from different countries such as India and China. As you can see in the video, there are a lot of gods enshrined in this temple. For example, there are the Seven Gods of Good Fortune enshrined in this temple who are believed to grant good luck. They are usually enshrined individually, but if you visit this temple, you can visit all of them at the same time. The main god of this temple is called Dakinishinten, the goddess originally from India and its messengers are the foxes so there are many fox statues in this temple. This temple was founded in 1828 as a branch temple of Toyokawa Shrine in Aichi prefecture.
Access to this temple is not a long way. It takes only 5 minutes From Tokyo Metro Akasakamitsuke or Nagatacho Station and 10 minutes away from Aoyama-ichome Station( I took this subway).

これは赤坂豊川稲荷別院の紹介動画です。正式名称は豐川閣妙嚴寺（とよかわかくみょうごんじ）と言います。日本では様々な神様がいるとされていますが、ここでは豊川ダ枳尼眞天（とよかわだきにしんてん）を筆頭に七福神や愛染明王、子宝観音、身代わり地蔵像など様々な神様が祀られています。赤坂という立地柄、芸能関係の参拝者も多いということです。
東京メトロ赤坂見附駅、永田町駅から徒歩5分、青山一丁目駅からも10分前後で行くことができるので、東京に来た際はぜひこのお寺に訪れてお参りしてみてください。
