That's a long time to be using the same tablet. It obviously still does what it is supposed to do. I am on my third since the original Graphire, whenever that was, but I do seem to have got through a few pens. The button broke on one, and another stopped working, which I thought was supposed to be impossible. I still have two non-functioning Wacom pens in a draw somewhere. I am waiting for a XenceLabs 16" Pen Display to be delivered, which is why I am trawling RUclips hoovering up everything I can find on them.
I have the Flow X16 which is a dream at a desk, but a little too heavy in tablet mode. Wish the Flow line had middle mouse sim and numpad to be all-pro. The Flow Z13 is also appealing as a portable RTX tablet and Surface Pro killa.
I’ve been using a Wacom Movink 13 and its been nice to have. I do miss having the something larger. I would prefer a 16in or bigger. The Wacom pro pen 3 is nice to have as well. It is so thin and light that I love using it away from my desk.
Mixed feelings on Xencelabs going with OLED for their portable model... worried about possible ghosting. Have you noticed any problems with this since receiving yours?
I just sold off my old XP Pen Innovator 16" so this comparison review of newer 16" tablets came along at a good time! The Innovator was great, but it was only 1080p and the drivers - especially to begin with (they updated a few years ago with new software which was much better) were a bit iffy, and I found it a bit awkward and clunky to use with a multi-monitor setup. Having to place it so I could reach my keyboard as well as the tablet was a challenge, so I'm intrigued by these standalone keys/controllers. I'm sure other tablets have them, hence you didn't highlight them very much, but this looks like it would solve my issues I had with the Innovator... next time I'm in the market for a tablet! Thanks.
XPPen Artist Pro 16 Gen2 is 2.5K they also have one at 15.6 inches in HD. 2.5K QHD Screen: The 16-inch graphic tablet's display adopts 2560x1600 QHD resolution, full laminated technology, anti-glare etched glass, 16:10 aspect ratio, wide angle of 178°
I have never been able to get a Huion to work properly on any of my systems I'm assuming its a compatibility issue with Nvidia cards because that's the commonality between them
@@grabbitt Not that I can recall no. Its worked fine since I got it really. I only use it for Clip Studio Paint and Blender atm. But since I got it I don't think there have been any issues. Its worked fine in software and such. Took a bit to work out how to get it working but thats more of something on my end been first tablet with a screen and such
my thoughts: i 'm thinking of doing 3d work on the new ipad pro m4 using Nomad sculpt. and then bring it to blender for polish. wonder whats your thoughts on this plan.
XP-Pen's quality control is terrible, be warned. My innovator 16 throws seizure inducing white lights or goes black if you just slightly move it or press one of the on bord buttons.
@@grabbitt It is a nice tablet otherwise, but the faulty connector kills it, cannot reliably use it without getting flash banged several times per session/losing signal randomly. I looked it up and many have the same issue. People who can afford it will probably go Cintiq, but for those with less of a budget, especially in countries with less availability and money; I would recommend exploring the other sub Wacom brands.
I have an older gen one in the 13.3 pro display and its functioning pretty well had it for like 3 years now. About the only issue I’ve had was when I was using it with my laptop, where the screen would be like green and pink and static when the cable had any sort of movement or pressure put on it but that was more because of the way I had to connect things cause of the laptops usb and hdmi socket placement. After getting my pc this didn’t really happen.
Yeah that price is ridiculous. Huion has a 19 inch for 1k and also comes with 2 pens, and a macro keyboard. You can also get a basic wacom cintiq for 700 without all the fancy gear and still would have a great experience. I just don't see any benefits to xencelabs with that high price.
You got like a thousand tablets now, whereas I'm still using an Intuos 3 PtZ-930 from the 90s. Which, by the way, is actually a pretty good tablet.
That is a good tablet
I used that one for years. Then the cable became ruined from flexing over the years. Now I'm looking at the Pen Display 16. Seems a good upgrade.

No not noticed anything like that

That OLED screen is awesome. I wish it was 120hz at a slightly higher price but this is a fantastic display tablet.
Would be cool to see a review of the Huion Kamvas 13 in terms of blender usage

@@grabbitt Ah bugger then. I have AMD and it works fine so must be a Nvidia thing then. thats a shame then D:
have you ever had any problems with the driver at all? When i have had things working they were very glitchy

Yes that could work well
How do you dealing with sweaty hand when drawing with screen drawing tablet ?
use a glove mainly, but some screens are nicer than others for this
羡慕大佬😍😍😍
😃
You seem like a very nice person lol

I had an innovator for a year or so and found it to be really nice

the artist pro gen 2 is really nice. been using that for over a year now

The basic wacom isn't 4k. The Huion I've never got to work on any of my systems. If you can get them to work it's a good deal.
