How will the Fed manage to raise rates without crashing the economy and initiating a default on the national debt? Servicing the national debt already costs the taxpayer $400 billion pa, at .25%. I think you need to go back to your silo and think again.

The world is running out of collateral^^ Looking at demographics it seems pretty obvious that this system cannot work going forward. An expansionary system like this worked for baby boomers but it won’t work with a declining population even though asset prices keep inflating. Basically millennials have to get into more and more debt but their income can’t support much more…..
