Psalm 54 - Psalter 147 Our Savior in Trial

Performance by the Psalm Choir of Psalm 54, Psalter 147 titled "Our Savior in Trial" from their CD "Fitting Praises Volume 8"
The tune is named "Capello" and was composed by Lowell Mason. Though originally used with the hymn "My Son, Know Thou the Lord" the lyrics in this Psalter are commonly used as well. Lowell Mason composed many tunes and 31 of them are used in the UPC Psalter, more than any other composer.

The Psalter was first published in 1912 by the United Presbyterian Church.

1. O save me by Thy Name
And judge me in Thy might;
