Finally! Someone who explains why it's smart to leave the driver seat open. Many people actually put stuff on that seat when they are camping. You have to be safe and be ready
Was looking for car-camping videos at lake Tahoe. Going for the first time camping solo and sleeping in my car. Found this video and it answered all the questions! Great video. Thanks for making it.
When you opened the hatch, the first thing I noticed was the platform to level the cargo area. I made one and did a video on it. It is a simple how to and one that I'd necessary when sleeping in the back. Yours looks great from the parts I could see.
Hi Tim! I just checked out your video - your platform is so similar to the one I made! I love mine, looks like you put carpet on your 2x4's and I think I actually might add that to mine to make it easier to get in and out. I'm going to make a video on how I built mine, I'll link your video in the description too for an extra POV for anyone who watches it :)
@@rozalyngrace thank you for watching. I did put the carpet in the bottom to help not tear up the 4runner carpet and it does slide easier. I look forward to seeing your video. Thank you for the shout out too. Keep up the great videos.
Mount Rose Campground, Site #13, Loop 2! Would recommend any spot near it within 2-3 spots, it felt really cool over there and quite remote for a organized campground imo. Have fun!
Why are you at a camp site if you're sleeping in the 4RR? Any parking lot would do! Get a tent and with a little practice you can learn to put it up and a little more practice you can get it back into the original bag.
yep, working on the tent, but man those things are expensive!! and as for parking lots, I tend to avoid them since I'm usually by myself and feel a little less exposed in campsites. to each their own though!
Agreed! I have the darkest tint that is street legal in Nevada, Oregon and California (the states I drive in the most), but honestly, it isn't super dark. I'm looking into some window covers that will block the windows, but the downside there is that I can't see out, either. Either way, I'd say its 100% worth it to tint them for the ladies camping alone!

love the 4runner! glad you enjoyed it :)
Digging the 4Runner and camping content. That is my vehicle of choice as well.

Love it! Thanks for the support :)
Thanks for sharing. I love Lake Tahoe.
Hello, Enjoyed watching your video. Id love to see how you built the platform. I have the same problem with my 4Runner.
Hi! I'll post a video of how I built it this week - it was really easy and I am not tool-savvy at all :)
What sleeping pad do you use?
What size tires do you have? Do you have a lift or is it stock?
Hi Nice 4Runner build! Stay safe!
New to your channel, what kind of bike rack do you have on the back of your runner?
Great campsite. What was the site number that you got. Thanks for sharing the experience!

Cool video - keep it up
We often wonder why especially females don’t get their windows tinted for privacy and safety, and wonder what your thoughts are on this.

Shows how scared and lonely she is! at an organized camp site where all she removes for the 4RR is a water bucket. American Millennial Cosplay Camper
